I spy Voltes, what MAY be Jeeg on the right side, and Duke, as well as I think a Gundam helmet on the top left.

So... either this is a new game (could be), or they're expanding on the ZEUTH stuff.

Thread Topic: Create an original plot using your 10 favorite series. If it has sequels/prequels you have to fit them in there somehow (IE if Gunbuster is one of your favorites, fit in Diebuster too). This excludes UC gundam and Macross though.

These aren't necessarily my favorites, but I've been toying around with good series that would work well together.

Gun x Sword
Eureka Seven
Getter Robo: Armageddon
Shin Getter Robo vs. Neo Getter Robo
Koutetsushin Jeeg
Shin Mazinger Z
Mazinkaiser
Martian Successor Nadesico
Mobile Police Patlabor
The Big O
GunBuster/DieBuster
Gundam F91/Crossbone Gundam

I'm thinking Nadesico would be the focus. On Earth, we have Patlabor, Nadesico, GunBuster/DieBuster, and F91/Crossbone. After the Nadesico begins to return from Mars, the STMC return, and the Nadesico is forced to land on a strange planet -- The Endless Illusion, which features everything else. I haven't really got anything after that, but I think that it's a small enough cast that would meld well together.

I mentioned something like this before but:

Gundam Wing/G-Unit(if it counts)/Endless Waltz
Gundam 00/Trailblazer
Full Metal Panic!
Patlabor
Shin Mazinger
Gaogaigar
Shin Getter Robo vs Neo Getter Robo
J Decker
Gear Fighter Dendoh
Giant Robo

It would be syndicate themed.
Villain group deals in the black market. Primary goal for them is purely profit from stolen and illegal techs.
Protag is either a bounty hunter or a member of a space police corps out to stop them.

Vifam
Layzner
Ideon
MazinKaiser OVA + vs GGoD
Getter Go (manga)
Baldios
Gundam X
Victory Gundam
Turn A Gundam
Evangelion rebuild/series mashup
Tekkaman Blade
Live A Live
Bokurano

All apocalypse-y or at least SHIT GOES DOWN series.
Starts on newly colonized planet, when it starts being invaded. Astrogators/Grados/Buff Clan/Moonrace/Gattler condensed into a single entity. The invaders attack a base, showing the shuttle with the Vifam kids leaving. Ideon dig site gets attacked, Solo ship rondevous with the Janus in orbit. Heading back to earth, they pick up a signal from mars. Mars was attacked, Janus picks up Bartz and the Layzner kids. Head to Earth, find the invasion is starting up, and Aliens are popping up, too. The aliens being radam/getter invaders/angels. Meet up with Buriki Daioh, Mazinkaizer and EVA. Timeskip ensues, team meets up with everyone else on an Earth locked in a huge war against the Gradosians/whatever. Aliens had quieted down for a bit, but came back.

-Bokurano would still have pilot die after battle, and would only start out with being usable in certain battles. A later secret could have it go down to the last pilot, and get infused with the ide. The former wouldn't come back to life, but you'd keep they're spirit pools, and can deploy Zearth as a normal unit.
-The ideon gauge goes up when a unit with a small child/baby gets hit. Like Lou/Karlman/Luchina. Gets stronger the higher the gauge, but once it reaches a certain point, it goes berserk.
-The other characters actually make the Wille crew likeable
-Diana is relegated to a princess (daughter of The Emperor of Grados). She's still a big deal, and plays a part in revealing about the human/grados connection.
-Odio from Live A Live is final boss. He caused the timeskip, and is a reason for the overseers from Bokurano to take notice.
-Buriki Daioh can unlock the other LAL heroes as subpilots, giving it move spirits/attacks/abilities. Like Sundown's Hurricane shot and Cube having healing spirits/repair module.

Hmm...

Shin Mazinger Z
GaoGaiGar/FINAL
Getter Robo Armageddon
Xabungle
Overman King Gainer
Gunbuster/Diebuster
Mobile Fighter G Gundam
Big O
Giant Robo THE ANIMATION: The Day The Earth Stood Still/all three Ginrei omakes (favoring the second because Ginrei Robo)
Kotetsushin Jeeg
(it said ten but fuck that donkey noise I'm throwing in Gravion/Gravion Zwei)

Humanity has long moved into space, due to the Earth being nearly destroyed - this started in the far past, but in the last fifty years there was a few other events - the sealing of Kyushu, the Getter Armageddon, and EI-01's destruction of Tokyo (one of the last major cities) Years ago, various domed cities were built, and the people inside decided to mess with gene tampering, alienating its citizens - cue Overman King Gainer and Xabungle (Xabungle would be somewhat different, mind.), as well as Big O (in this, Paradigm City forcefully pacified their citizens by removing their memories, meaning Shwartzwald was actually RIGHT (you can potentially get him as an ally in the final fights, should you do multiple secret things).

Meanwhile, in space, other problems are happening. The Gundam Fight pretty much kept the colonies from killing each other, but even besides that they're starting to be assaulted by the Zeravire and the STMC. Big Fire is also causing a stink, though the five scientists that worked on the Shizuma drives would be Dr. Shizuma, Franz Von Fogler, Dr. Hell, Dr. Saotome, and Juzo Kabuto, all of whom also helped in the Ultimate Gundam project.

Also problematic are Dr. Hell deciding the time of the Earth is up and attacking one of the few viable cities on Earth left - the city powered by Photon Energy from SMZ (I can't remember its name) and the Invaders that have taken residence on Earth. Meanwhile, under the ruins of Tokyo, the Zondarians plot the destruction of everything, and the Himika Empire is starting to act up again - not to mention the Devil Gundam.

Gonna use the series list from SRW S(ahib) that I'd been posting in the last few threads.

Mazinger Z
Grendizer
Combattler V
Aizenborg
Tetsujin 28 (1980)
Gundam Wing
Plawres Sanshiro
Ashita no Joe
Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water

The original character Sahib Al-Abqari, a down on his luck camel merchant. He inherited his business from his father, an illiterate man who made a lot of money in the pre-oil days. After his father passed away, however, he left his camel business to his sons, Sahib and Sadiq, and while Sahib does his best to manage the business, Sadiq wastes all their profits on alcohol.

Sahib, however, hatches a plan. He decides to move to Japan, a country that is not known for camels, and decides to setup shop there. Things go pretty bad quickly, however, as Japan discovers Japanium and comes under the threat of Ab Al-Ghathab (Dr. Hell), So he teams up with the young Mahir (Kabuto Kouji) to rid Japan of this threat and help stabilize the economy.

Sahib, carrying the last of his father's inheritance not squandered away by his brother, decides to create a robot that can help face this threat. Sahib, however, feels that he's not capable of fielding it. So he relies on Joe Yabuki, a young boxer, to pilot it. In his mind, Sahib knows that the only person fit to field the machine is either a boxer, or a baseball player, as those are the only two honest sports on this Earth.

Sahib, Sadiq, and Mahir, however soon find themselves facing off against tons of threats. This includes the Vagans, the Branch Society, and many more. Luckily, they gain new allies, in the form of Duke Fleed, Kabuto Kouji, Shotaro, Hyouma and his gang, and many more.

He's going to have the time of his life managing this rowdy group of robot pilots, but Sahib has his heart set on making his new venture in Japan work. Now if only he can make his silly brother quit that bad habit of his!

Vifam/Vifam13/OVAs
Dougram
GaoGaiGar/Final
Zambot 3
Live-A-Live (Akira and Cube)
J-Decker
Xabungle
Front Mission 3
Tetsujin 28 (2004, I don't give a fuck how, time travel)
Dai-Guard

And honestly I don't know how the plot could work.
Dougram, Vifam (Cube's chapter happens on the Janus) and Xabungle work alone for a while, but soon meet up. GaoGaiGar would obviously work with J-Decker. Dai-Guard could work with GGG and sometimes getting support from the Front Mission units. Akira, Shotaro and Zambot team doing stuff together.

I looked up the titles under PSV-PSP, and none of them are for PSP, all are for PSV.
- Sword Art Online Hollow Fragment
- Soul Sacrifice DELTA
- Neptunia Re;Birth2
- Noir Blackheart (spin-off with a character from Neptunia series)

So, if it's real, it will come only for the PSV.

Oh, and hey, discovered something new today.

So we all know how weapon upgrades work from Mazinger to Kaiser in Alpha, right? Missile Punch turns into Giant Missile, Rocket Punch into Turbo Smasher Punch, Breast Fire into Fire Blaster, Photon Beam into itself, Rust Hurricane into Rust Tornado (as if anyone cares, the attack is useless in Alpha 1), and the Breast Fire MAP (if you get it. I did, it's really good) into a Fire Blaster MAP. And I THINK Scrander Cutter turns into that one 1-6 range free attack Kaiser can use that's basically Scrander Boomerang.

But did you know Iron Cutter turns into Kaiser Blade? No one seems to. Everywhere I look I see people saying that one doesn't carry over. Well, it does. So unlike Reitou Beam (why is that a thing) or the Southern Cross Knives, you actually have a REASON to work with those.

>So unlike Reitou Beam (why is that a thing)

Because it had the best debut ever in the 70s tv show. Kouji went to use the Mazinger's new weapon, only to see that it was completely ineffective trash that did no damage to the mecha beast.

The only thing it ever did correctly was putting out fires. It was basically useless as an offensive weapon.

Also of note: Powered Mazinger Z is better in pretty much every way than Mazinkaiser.

No really. Its attacks have longer range (topping off in 1-3 range Breast Fire), have either comparable power or are outright better - Iron Cutter at 1-4 range for free and more than Kaiser Blade, Rocket Punch at 1-5 Range FREE AND REALLY POWERED UP? God I love this thing.

You do lose a straight line MAP, but the Breast Fire MAP is absurd enough that you shouldn't need it.

Also, make more stages like this. Alpha 1 has had two so far, and both were ridiculously fun - that other one had even more hilarious things (Core Fighters, the Fighter from Daitarn, a couple of other cool things)

So if I wanted to play A and MX, would I be better off playing the originals and not dealing with the super bloated enemy HP or do the remakes add anything that's not in the originals?

MX has a stage over the originals, which is pretty fun if you've upgraded the Dragonar cast (if you haven't, woe betide you), but other than that it's pretty much just bloat.

A Portable is pretty much superior in every manner and should be the game of choice, even if it is probably the second or third hardest game in the series.

It's Potential in this game, but you have a point.

Too bad it's not Alpha Gaiden, where they gave Tetsuya Guts for some ungodly reason which would mean Powered Mazinger would break the game in half (it's weaker in AG, right?)

I've not finished Z, but I was using Sylvia/Sirius and it worked out quite well... until I found out Sirius apparently leaves in the lategame.

Since then, I just went with Reika/Pierre, because Jun/Tsugumi have meh stuff as far as I can tell.

(also, consider turning them into SP banks as well as stat banks, and make sure not to neglect them TOO much - just incase you decide to use Aquarion Alpha)

Yeah I'm gonna get them a bit of SP on them too.

And also, I really can't into the squad system at all. Like I get how all the mechanics work but I'm not sure if I'm actually arranging my units properly. Pic related is what I have right now, headed into Stage 24. Any tips?

For reference, Amuro is in the Turn A, Loran is in a Rick Dias, and that blonde chick from Gainer is in the Rushrod.

Sirius and Silvia. When Sirius leaves (you get him back), use Pierre and Silvia.

Reika goes to Assault Aquarion, with Jun and Tsugumi as co pilots. When you get Sirius back, kick Jun and Tsugumi out and put Pierre and Rena in.

Apollo and Reika/Lihua get Attack Again, possibly Hit and Away for sniping with MUGEN PANCH and other standard super robot pilot stuff like EN Save.

Looks decent but:
Why is Godsigma not a squad leader? With the ability to recharge EN for free once per stage, it'll be your workhorse for most of the game.
Likewise, a group of 3 supers (Gunleon, Zambot 3, Gran Kaiser - which easily transforms into Gravion because Touga has cheap Spirit) looks like a waste. Spread them around.
Don't underestimate Holland. His squad leader bonus makes him the best anti-air pilot in the game, even before he gets the Devilfish.
Methuss as squad leader - why would you ever do that

Ok, here's how I would do things:

First, put all your big "heavy hitters" in front. That means the front would probably be:

Gunleon
Zambot
Walker Gallia
Baldios
God Sigma
Getter Dragon
Turn A
Orguss
Aquarion
Big O
King Gainer
Nirvash
God Sigma
Gundam Mk 2
Impulse Gundam

(some of those are gimmes, mind)

Then, take a look at what flies and what doesn't. Arrange second and third slot accordingly.

So something like this.

Gunleon/Xabungle/random ground grunt
Zambot/pink E7 thing
Walker Gallia/one of the Zakus/a Kapool
Baldios/Emperanza (obviously)/flight given Leopard Destroy
God Sigma/Rushrod/red orguss thing
Getter Dragon/Gundam X (Divider)/flight given random
Turn A/Hyaku Shiki/grunt
Orguss/yellow E7 thing (orguss is going to be doing all the attacking anyway)/yellow orguss thing
Aquarion/Metheuss (keep it in flight mode unless you must land it, be sure to fix Apollo's sky rank)/TFO
Big O/Sara's Panzer (make that the only one you use)/random ground grunt
King Gainer/Airmaster/Lady Command
Nirvash/blue LFO/something with flight
Gram Kaiser/red Gundam that isn't Leopard Destroy/Double Spazer (when you get it back)
Gundam Mk 2/one of the random Gundam peoples/Kapool
Impulse Gundam/whatever's left.

Like I said I had no real idea what I was doing, and about the Methuss, next stage is 15 squads and all my half decent guys only took up 14, so for that last one I was putting those two goons that show up with Quattro, and that left the squad leader, either Reccoa or Katz. Guess which one is a permanent bench warmer.

I'll spread out the supers though, and damn I hadn't checked Holland's squad leader bonus.

Oh, and incase you got lost in there and didn't notice, I made an important note.

You know the main pilot of Solar Aquarion? You will be using him until the end of the game. Usual build involves giving him EN Save and Hit And Away, but there is one thing you should do before either of those.

Change his B Air Rank into an A Air Rank.

Trust me, it will save a lot of frustration.

They're occasional drops, and often in the Bazaar - honestly there's nothing amazing to spend money on there usually (and the mechs are CHEAP) so buying one or two won't lose you much.

One of the guides on GameFAQs goes over random things the Bazaar has (one stage midway through the next arc will randomly offer a cheap item that's really good, you want to snap it up right then), keep that in mind.

It's a good idea to have the Methuss and other repair/resupply units in your squads even if their pilots suck. That's because the whole squad gets a passive 10% HP/EN regen for a repair/resupply unit present. It doesn't have to be the leader.

Also from my experience Turn A isn't really squad leader material until it gets Moonlight Butterfly. Same for Emperanza and the Brunhilde summoning attack, even if Gain's theme is badass.

Likewise, it pains me to do so but unless the moon is out, I keep Gundam X and DX as support members only. Slap a learning manual on them so Garrod and Jamil get 100% PP from kills.

Just a few recommendations if you're not sure how to free up space for squad leaders. But really? Use whomever you want, as long as it's reasonable and not all joke pilots and C-listers.

Turn A is DECENT as squad leader, but I don't see why anyone would use Gain as a continual squad leader - he's better off staying in squad with Baldios for the entire game, Baldios taking point. Brunehilde attack is good, mind, but Thunder Flash and Baldiroser are better, and the two work well together.

As for the X, X Divider is pretty good - that powerful Post Movement ALL attack, man - but I'll agree that Double X is only at its best when the moon is out. That's most stages, though, and the single strongest attack in the game is worth it (expecially since careful play and use of the G-Falcon means you may get two shots a mission)

A Adapter doesn't help Aquarion, it has As in everything not related to Water. It's the PILOT that needs fixing.

That would go better on another unit, like the Gallier or Big O/Gunleon (who NEED strong anti-air capabilities that aren't really weak or expensive)

A Adapters in this game remain situational items, so it's best to understand them.

An A Adapter is good if a unit can't hurt Air (Big O, anything from Xabungle INCLUDING MOST NOTABLY THE IRON GEAR), but you do not intend to have it in a squad that flies.

An A Adapter is good if a unit cannot enter Space easily (a lot of things) and you run out of Thruster Modules.

An A Adaptor is good when a unit has a specialty terrain - best I can think of is most Air units, Xabungle things, and Boss Borot - and shit everything else - fix that.

Otherwise, the item is pointless. At least in this game, though, there's enough for that first option that you'll have a use for the things.

first-time playing SRW.
Just finished Z2 Hakai-Hen and now going on to Z2.2. In Saisei-Hen is Continue and SP Regen the best seishin to use PP on? Should I focus on getting those two as early as possible, and not really bother with spending PP on other skills?
In Hakai-Hen I used Limit Break and Ammo Save etc, but in Saisei-Hen Limit Break and stuff doesn't seem worth it compared to SP Regen and Continue. I'm new at this so I'm still trying to figure out which Spirit commands are the best.

Yeah, those two pretty much break everything. Give Continuous Attack and SP Regen to everything that you can, try to hand out things like EN Save/B Save afterwards, feel free to figure out if Attacker or Attack Again would be better (depends on the unit - some, like Chirico or Kei, want AA, most will prefer Attacker), and only give Will Limit Break if it seems particularly useful.

Make sure that all the pilots who start with WLB keep it, though, and that Heero Yuy gets it. Zero System is Will based in this (so WLB works well), and the main pilot with natural WLB is Ryoma who's Ace Bonus activates at 170 will (and turns him into one of the strongest people in the game)

Oh, speaking of Getter G, as per the norm Liger is the best at handling mooks and closing in. Therefore, make sure when you give it squaddies that the pilots aren't terrible on the ground (Hayato's Leader Bonus can fix the mechs, but he can't help the pilots... or was it the other way around? I can't remember. I do know that's why you shouldn't worry about using it near water, Benkei will fix your squadmates right up)

Also, make sure it is never on the same team as Tekkoki Oni, the two are both good units but the Leader Bonuses are entirely wasted on each other.

You know, I'm going to chip in and say that after a certain point, the 10% HP and EN regen from Repair/RS units really aren't worth worrying about. Use them if you need their pilot Spirit Commands, but going out of your way to ensure that units have access to the HP/EN regen tends to be more effort than it's worth.

And incidentally, there's no real point in worrying too much about squad setups. You want something to bash grunt, something to bash bosses (doesn't have to be different units), a source of Accel and everything else is gravy.

Eh, the Resupply thing is pretty good if you stack it. It's not odd for some Supers to get around 400/500 EN by the end of the game, and if you have two resuppliers (say, the Lady Command - which has one of the best spirit banks in the game as a pilot - and something else, maybe the thing Enil El comes in?), that's 80/100 free EN per turn - not a small sum.

Repair thing is more of a courtesy though, although it does mean Rand will probably never die.

Didn't really need to. The second requirement on Akurasu is noted as being in Setsuko's territory, and Rand will get him back with it (I think?), so he doesn't need it.

Correct. You can't miss the Great Booster, you get it automatically on stage 41 which is when Great et. al. rejoin.

Right. It's the same story with the Hyaku Shiki's Bazooka.

I just couldn't remember if the GB came with Great or if it came a few stages afterwards, that's all. I seem to remember one of the other "quicker" secrets coming a few stages after they rejoin if you didn't get the secret.

The Hyaku Shiki's Bazooka is probably the mots substantive of the "early secret" weapons. You get it in stage 19 as a secret, and normally in stage 31 which is a decent chunk of time. The Great Booster is acquired automatically 4 stages after it's early acquisition point, and Great Mazinger can get along fine doing Double Burning Fire.

Amusingly you can also miss the Flying Armor Crash for the Gundam MkII, and by miss I mean "you get it automatically after the stage you'd get it normally if you missed the event".

There are some "early secrets" in the late game that are "you get two shots and one is ten/twenty stages earlier", like Baldiroiser and Final Dynamic Special.

Also, what I like about the Hyaku Shiki's bazooka is that it is on a route split, while the other has the Rushrod/YASSABA JIN PILOT OF RUSHROD and one of the secret items, basically singlehandedly making the route split character exclusive.

Also, I think you can get Godol in the last level, so that's cool. How many games can you do that with, two or three others?

Although, after Alpha 1, Combattler had its story in A, R and Scramble Commander 2nd, at least, but they all used the second half of the show, so no Garuda.

Godol shows up a couple of times, but never as a full on recruit. Mores the pity. You can get it as a guest in the final stage of @1, 2, and Shin. Heinel appears as a Guest for the Gaiking final in @2 along with Richter from Daimos and his Chimera. Heinel as a Sub-scenario unit in @3 (I think he also guest in @3). You can recruit Heinel in Shin SRW, but he leaves after a stage.

Yeah, that stuff sucks.

At least you'll have a better idea of what to do now. Do be sure to give Zambot some Weapons upgrades, though (need them Aki points), and remember to upgrade the Mk 2 at least - it will pass upgrades to the Zeta, so two for the price of one.

Also, that mission where you get the Bronco 2 put all your money into weapons, they're really cheap and will then go into Orguss. (Gatchko is similar, but you have more time for that one)

Basically those. Maybe EN Save or that sort of thing if they need those for their PLA attacks, and stuff to make sure they're ready to take and dodge/receive hits.

Playing through Hakai-hen for the first time. Doing a no-upgrades, no parts, no-fiddling-about-with-anything-whatsoever run. It's a lot more interesting and ups the challenge a bit since you're forced to take EN and terrain ratings more seriously. It's still a very easy game, but you get a lot more out of it than if you just FUB the ten best robots and breeze through every mission.

Also, it turns out the Scopedog is actually kind of crap when you can't just abuse parts and upgrades.

Well, the Scopedog isn't exactly the important part of the Chirico combo. In my second playthrough, the Scopedogs were completely vanilla and the only pilot skill I gave to Chirico was Continuous Action, since he didn't really need anything else.

Gunleon/Xabungle/Xabungle grunt
Gain's Sniper Mech/King Gainer/Sara's Panzer
Jiron/Grunt/Grunt
Gundam X/Grunt

Worked out pretty well, I even had a few unit's turns to spare by the end of Turn 3. I just bumrushed in with Accel/Boost and went to town.

1. What exactly are the differences between the two starting characters? eg are there pilots/mechs you can only recruit with one but not the other
2. Is there anything I would need to play it other than just the rom? (eng patches, bug fixes, special editions, anything like that)

Their story is different, meaning that several stages will be different, and yes, several secrets are exclusive. Check this site out:
http://akurasu.net/wiki/Super_Robot_Wars/Z
Also, you only get that one, the other 1 won't be playable, though you'll see them around.

It's an ISO, not a rom. There's an special disc with extra missions that you should play after finishing the game. Other than that, you can find a story summary here:

1. The story actually unfolds differently depending on the character you pick. In fact, the cast splits in half a few times, and they tend to go with a different side every time (with Setsuko going with the more army/lawful side and Rand with the more wanderer/chaotic side). Setsuko's exclusive secrets are the Djieh, Four, Sarah, Reccoa, Stella and the second Gundam Mk2. Rand's are Yassaba, the second Xabungle, the survival of Charles and Ray, a bunch of items and Asakim helping out on the last stage.

2. Not really. There is a Z Special Disk but it's just a bunch of extra missions that are completely optional.

(Are Nanoha and Symphogear /m/ enough to be in SRW?)

Samekh's awakening caused the extermination of most human life on the planet, while the energy it generated acted as a beacon for not just the Invaders in the Oort Cloud, but also for the Wulgaru who proceed to invade from their warp gate near Neptune, and the Space Monsters who try to exterminate this dangerous source of energy as part of their role as the galaxy's immune system. Also attracted by this burst are the voyaging crew of the Nirvana, crewed mostly by the women of the female dominated Majere, and the few men from the male-dominated Taraak. Meanwhile, back on Earth, a rag-tag alliance consisting of the the remnants of the former Earth Federation, consisting of GGG, Hayato's Tower, the Majestic Prince program, and the special operatives of the Mazinkaiser and Tauburn.

At the same time, rebel factions consisting of the Black Knights, the Gekko State, and the Dai-Gurren Brigade, and the Order of the Southern Cross struggle to protect their own interests in the midst of recovering from the apocalypse, and preparing for the imminent invasion.

Protip: If it is a secret, and it doesn't lock you out of something good (either like in route splits or like how killing Puru gets you a Haro in A Portable), it is ALWAYS WORTH IT.

The worst secret in Z is easily the Xabungle 2, because it locks you out of good stuff for nothing. Best is Tekkoki Oni, because it's good and easy to get.

You could also play 3 or wait until 2 is finished in a few weeks, but I suggest you not. Classic series is a bitch to get into.

OG1, OG2, J or @G are in English. For the rest you can check gamfaqs for story summaries.

Yeah, classic SRW hasn't aged very well. It's almost as bad as classic Fire Emblem.

Do SRW3, OG1, and @1 all have the same plot pretty much? DC War interrupted by Aerogators?

@1 doesn't, there is no DC War because the OYW was stopped by the SDF smashing into the Earth and the Federation government went "holy shit, there ARE aliens with powerful weapons out there!", and set to work both building up their military, preparing to handle said aliens (Gunbuster stuff as well as Aerogaters), and refitting the ship into the Macross.

If my memory serves, Bian is still alive and well in Alpha 3, if only a minor character.

The DC war is actually from 2. 3 is more like OG2's Neo DC, also the Inspectors.

So on Stage 7 of SRW Z, do I need to be the one who shoots down Tifa to count for the secret or does it count if the group that shows up with Harry Ord does it?

You probably need to shoot down Enil, Shagia, and Olba.

It's not hard to get all of them AND Harry Ord, with a little work I got all four and a lot of the mooks on my first try.

Yeah I got the SR point that stage, it's just that one of Harry's mooks shot Enil down instead of me. Even if it didn't count as long as I still get all the other requirements for the secret I'll still get it.

I am now getting to work on Gunbuster's All Attacks video.

Does... Eva 03 get any upgrades from its original form? It's extremely underwhelming, to be honest, and I wanted to use that as my single "end of game" EVA.

Best Eva in Alpha was unit 2 since the AT Field Attack has 4000 damage and it's FREE.

God, I wish I could cannabalize its sniper rifle thing and give it to another Eva unit.

Mine has less "things not dying" and "ally attacking" and less load times (though the quality isn't as good)

Also, Gunbuster is always on the SIDE OF JUSTICE and doesn't die.

>>10018933
Shinji is the best until then because of his massive, MASSIVE MAP attack and his more powerful in general attacks. I think he also has the Beam Rifle Toji has.

So, question - does Gunbuster get a MAP for fully upgrading Buster Beam? I know it doesn't get one for SIK, but then a lot of random attacks get MAPS (including Texas Revolver of all things), so it's best to check.
