I don't think that I can take all this drama anymore.
I mean.
Everyday, there's just drama there and here and argh.
Oh well, I never rant on things that much. So, long rant coming?
I don't want to sound offensive, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut ~

Mostly of all the drama is about stupid stuff.
It looks kinda childish, in some cases.
Weren't we meant to use MMD for fun?
So, why are we overreacting over it and making drama?

Why do we keep fighting when we should be nice to other people?
Not that I never acted mean to someone.
But meh.
What we're doing?
When I first started with MMD, on February, 2010, people were all happy, making edits, sharing models with friends, helping, giving tips to improve, etc.
I was somewhat like most newbie people, as you can see here. I was, like 16 years old. Ah, the memories of being 16-ish ~
Ahem.
We edited models, not to harm people, but for the fun.
We paired models because we had our ships and everything.
Most people that I found on that time wasn't good with modeling or editing as they're today.

Only a few users from the big group used to mock at the newbies or troll around. But it was innocent.
Mostly people used Windows XP and readmes generally appeared messed when opened there, making them impossible to translate.
It also made me edit Nanami due not knowing the rules.
The rules hadn't lots of LIMITATION OF THE CHARACTER USAGE. People could pick up Miku and pair her with Luka or Kaito and it was perfectly fine.
Japanese modelers just didn't use to come to dA and overreact instead of talking to the person. Yet with the Nanami incident, Nanami didn't come over dA to overreact.
Overreact is just rude.
Yet that you make a model and people unsure about some pairing rule is using it in couple pictures, you should be glad that they're using your data.

What Nanami did in first place was just stupid. She could've talk to the persons doing it wrong or reporting those people, yes. But she prefered to post it in her site.
In that time, I got everything from Melmel, without knowing.
It was the first drama here that I've seen.

After that, I saw everything slowly becoming dramatic.
The japanese modelers said to have lost their faith in us.
That's so sad.

Since I joined this community, it was my dream to learn how to make models.
Not editing.
But real modeling from scratch.
When I finally find out how to do this, the community is just broken.
Of course we can't just love everyone.
But yet.
We can respect and live together as a Big MMDer Family (Just kill me, I'm not saying this xD)

Everyday, people arrive at the community doing wrong stuff and we just bash them without even explaining.
We do wrong stuff and japanese modelers only after MONTHS and LOTS of errors to point out what we're doing wrong.
Everything is wrong.
We're wrong.
Japanese modelers are also wrong.
Just wrong, in various points of view.

We're wrong for editing stuff that shouldn't be edited at all. (Did you know what? Some people even give the data to public! :'D) And breaking the rules.
Japanese modelers are wrong for trying to keep control on the CHARACTER that they modeled. I can take as example, Montecore Luka. Luka isn't Montecore's OC or something to them come and say "I dun want hetero couples with her". Luka is a Crypton character, as a Crypton Vocaloid.
Same for Hetalia.

Spoiler warning, don't want to be spoiled, jump this

The characters are by Hidekazu-san and he didn't even stated that they were "hetero only". In fact, you can spot that Sweden is gay for Finland (I dun want to be mean, but he actually called Finland as 'wife', so ~) or that America and England care for each other or that Germany can't be really mad at Italy yet that he tries hard, France and England seems to have a rivality, but they are seem acting together so many times, Austria, Hungary and Prussia having their strange friendship, Belarus wanting Russia and Russia wanting everybody to become one with him, etc, etc, etc. There's like, so much physical contact on the series.
And actually, Italy kissed a boy as a child, but flirt with girls as an adult.
Japan danced with a girly-dressed-Switzerland too.
Meh.

Spoiler is over

Hetalia characters (except Sweden, since he actually called Finland 'wife') doesn't have definied sexuality, which makes the no-yaoi / yuri rule pointless.
I only met two or three persons who couldn't ship yaoi on Hetalia. One of them was a msn friend, away from our community and from the drama. Other was Miru, but she's gone. (I hate the feeling that she's gone, but yet). I'm okay with almost everything, except yuri (I'm okay with shoujo-ai, but meh).
I know that various modelers are older than me (I'm 18) or you guys, which gave them the proper right of disliking yuri or yaoi. I, myself, can't just say that I'm going to like yaoi forever.
But you can't force people to only pair up a character with only male or only female because it's your model. The character is just not yours, this is pointless.

Your model, not your character
Crypton never stated that Luka was lesbian.
Himaruya never stated that his characters were hetero. (Especially because a whole country has people who are hetero and homo, not only hetero or homo, so the country personifications, according to my point of view, would just like people of both genders, as you see with Sweden being like he is ONLY for Finland).

And people saying "I follow the japanese readme and edit ~"
The creepy edits. THE CREEPY EDITS WITH YAOI! (No offense to editors, but meh, somethings are just eh.... a big no-no)
And the japanese readmes stating that you can edit but can't yaoi.
That's why we can't have nice things.
We're doing it wrong everytime we recolor England to make a zombie England, for example. Both english and japanese readme of the models states that it's okay to edit "with common sense"

TL;DR: Modelers are wrong to force us into hetero-only. We're wrong when it comes to destroy edit their model data. Yet that Hetalia can be seem totally hetero by some people, a big part of the fandom agrees that it's not only hetero. Luka isn't meant to be only yuri-ish.

We're also not meant to harm the modelers on purpose just because we think that they're doing wrong. But overreacting on dA publicy like that harms everybody, since not everyone is doing wrong.

And people like Alyallie, CNSE, Y2kk2y and Damesukekun appearing around. Every place has people like this, of course, but lately there's so much troll activity that it's becoming ridiculous, really.

From 2010 until now, I saw the community going to happy-desu-friends-with-everyone to drama-trolls-childish-errors-competition-for-popularity.

[The part that doesn't suit everybody]

Everyone is aiming for perfection in a level that it's so damn high to reach and fighting over 15 seconds on the spotlight. Damn.
You can say that everyone's pictures became better. That's normal when you use some program too much. That's called practice.

I would say something about an English modeler that acts as everybody except their friends were just dust, but I wouldn't.

[It ends here]

But the most important thing.
We're becoming drama queens.
We're searching for the drama in the deepens of our inboxes.
We can't deny that.

Not everyone, but yet.

The only reason why I didn't left yet is that there's a little sunshine holding me here and I love so much making images with MMD and modeling with Meta ~
And of course, all the friends that I made over these two years ~
But yet, all this drama.
Ah ~
How I miss the old days so much ~

Amazing!!!
I love your rants, because you always tell exactly what people are thinking!!
To avoid any kind of drama, I always put the model with a translated readme...But is not every of them that are translated, so I may make some mistakes on the future...
That thing about people ranting on DA...Is not that all the drama was we that started, right?
So why to always come here for this? Just because we are a huge community and some here may do some mistakes?
And that thing of Yaoi Yuri stuff...Why all of this? That's the new world we are living, new times, so you have to accept a little of it...You don't have to be or like, but only accept that others may like it and that there is nothing that you can really do for it...Just let people have fun.
