Live Commentary

"DREAMS CAN COME TRUE"
Jerome Boateng
and Kevin Prince-Boateng will face off again at the World Cup, for Germany and Ghana respectively in Group G, after meeting each other in 2010.

FC Schalke player Kevin-Prince Boateng looks on during a press conference

JORGE SAMPAOLI REACTION
"Really tough group, so we will try to be competitive enough to qualify. Del Bosque didn't want Chile, but we also didn't want Spain"

Chile's national football team coach Jorge Sampaoli arrives for the final draw

DIDIER DESCHAMPS REACTION
"The most important thing when you start a competition is to win your first match. To not play against Switzerland is an advantage."

France coach Didier Deschamps arrives for the Final Draw

PAULO BENTO REACTION
"It's a tight group with a favourite - Germany - because of their history and potential. Both USA and Ghana have good teams, well organised and good players in some of the best European teams. But our ambition does not depend on the group. We want to be in the round of 16 and that's what will fight for"

Portugal's coach Paulo Bento looks on

HONG MYONGBO REACTION
"We played a friendly against Russia in November but we will have to study them again, things changed. People may think it's an easy group, but it's not true. We should not underestimate any of our opponenents, they are all strong and can go through"

CARLOS QUEIROZ REACTION
"It is an honour, it’s just for us to enjoy now. We will play against the best teams in the world and it’s a great opportunity for us to progress and be a better team."

FABIO CAPELLO REACTION
"It’s a good group the draw is not so bad another really important thing is the location as we play in the centre of Brazil. I’m happy."

JURGEN KLINSMANN REACTION
"I had a feeling in my stomach we’d get Germany. It’s one of the most difficult groups in the whole draw. Including having Portugal and Ronaldo, Ghana’s history with USA and of course Germany it couldn’t get more difficult or any bigger. But that’s what the World Cup is about and we’ll take it. Hopefully we’ll surprise some people there. We’re going to be prepared were going to be confident. Winning in Italy, getting a result in Russia will help us in our preparations."

ROY HODGSON REACTION
"
It's a tough group no doubt about that. We've almost got two number one seeds in our group, with Italy and Uruguay. Our great advantage is being based in Rio - meaning that we've only got that one really long trip. I'm very positive, you just never know. You don't win football matches on paper, you go out on each occasion 11v11. If you're well prepared you've got a chance to win all three of the games."

MATCH SCHEDULE
The opening match is on 12 June, Brazil facing Croatia and the two teams that contested the 2010 Final, Netherlands and Spain, kick off Group B a day later.

Iran is brave enough to face with great teams. I wish England replaced with Bosnia, to experience an interesting portfolio of teams... Argentina and Nigeria are severe rivals, but Iran can play against them honorably...
