I even this little albino girl in a Hmong village, but when she saw me
(a white skin person like her) she cried a lot and ran into her house.
I never saw a little girl so frighten.. I imagine she had not seen
many foreigners... She was really cute.
But.. having an albino girl in Hmong culture is really a bad sign and
is not a happy time for parents... i showed the other the pictures of
the tanzanian albinos kids i met last month. She was surprised to see
that black people could have white skin, too!

If you have postal addresses for some of these folks (or a local charity in the area) we often have surplus prototypes to send low vision or blind children as many children with Albinism are.
(well my job does...American Printing House for the Blind.)

So this little girl might not be albino, it's very common for hmong people to have blond hair, blue eyes, and light skin. It's actually natural, theres been a bunch of studies but no one really knows why this is so, it's not DNA mutation or anything. If anyone is interested they should look more into it, it's a really interesting topic. Being hmong myself I'm pretty sure her family and surroundings accepted her the way she is. I see hmong people with blue eyes, blond hair, and light skin all the time. it's very normal.

It very rare to see hmong with blonde hair these days and blue eye. I'm hmong myself and I've never even knew that hmong have those traits in there genes. When I was a little kid I would see some hmong kids with blond hair and blue eye, don't know where they are today but I though they were half breed but it turn out there parent were 100% hmong. I also though it was a defect in there genes but turns out it wasn't. If the right blood mix you can still make a blonde hair and blue eye hmong but very few chance that can happen but once in a long while you see one.

Ahh this girls isn't albino; please do the world a favor and do your research before you spread false information!
If anything-- I think she was afraid of you! I was born in a refugee camp back in the 80s during the Vietnam war-- and I had very light brown hair while everyone else in my family had black hair. There were travelers who would stop by to take photos and I was pretty scared of them-- once they tried to talk to me; I was so scared-- thinking they were going to kidnap me, I ran back in the house and hid under the blanket until they left the camp.

A albino have white hair and red skin. Her hair is yellow and white skin.
Many have wondered about these bright children. But I'm too wise to determine whether it is an level of albino or whether it is Europeans travelers in the past.

I am Hmong-American. My kids have golden blonde hair with dark brown eyes. I and my wife have dark hair and eyes.
Its a long history within the hmong race. Some rumors stated that Hmong could be the lost tribe mentioned on bible. Folklore says hmong were a sort of caucasian traits.(maybe)
Im not a doctor or scientist but im living proof of this rare trait in the Hmong race and culture.
Science and archeologist have found many cases of large size weaponry that a reguar size human would not be able to use in batttle. maybe hmong are the originators and over battle and war for many centurys maybe hmong have gradually interace to look and be how we are are in modern time.

I am hmong myself...This is my theory, which is just really my own personal opinion and hypothesis of why some hmong children/individuals are born this way. I believe that decades ago, some of our hmong ancestors must have mated with Europeans with blonde hair and blue eyes. Now those born with such traits must have been in that same blood line and thus inherited European biological/genetic traits which most of the time is the recessive gene over traits of any type of asian which is why we see so little changes in physical traits in those children who are mixed with caucasion.

Some members of hill tribes of Burma has features which may come from Europe. It may be: large noses, big eyes, great height, light skin, light hair, hairy arms and legs. Also Sanskrit and Pali have a European origin.
