Two men under the ground - level 3

After two days trapped underground, this miner has been pulled to safety.

He’s one of two men rescued after the coal mine they were working in, in Central China, was struck by flooding. The search is still ongoing for three other miners still missing. The flood is believed to have been caused by a mining blast on Tuesday.

Thirty-one miners managed to escape uninjured, while five were trapped.

The two men rescued have been rushed to a nearby hospital. Their condition is unknown.
