Hardware German website computerbild.de got their hands on a Debug PS4. Codenamed the DUH-T1000AA, the device looks like a regular PS4, and it goes without saying that I’m extremely jealous (being in Japan, the chances for me to get one of those in the foreseeable future are slim, especially since Amazon US don’t seem to be getting any new stock yet) .
The video doesn’t actually show much, besides the accessories and the actual device. In particular, they do not turn turn the console on or even plug it to a TV, so we don’t get to see the interface, or how exactly the debug unit is different from a standard PS4, except for a slightly mysterious “TEST” port at the rear of the console (is it really a port?).
If the PS4 is anything like the Vita (and I bet it is), a debug unit is probably not super useful in itself, as those need to be reactivated by their rightful “owner” regularly, otherwise they become unable to run anything. Nevertheless, it would be awesome to see it actually running something!
The mysterious “TEST” port (?)
What’s your gaming gear going to look like in 2014? Are you getting a PS4?

Well good for you, I on the otherhand sold my GTX670 computer to buy an ultrabook instead.

Why a ultrabook?

-
Good luck waiting up to 18 months for waiting for next-gen Intel CPUs and nVidia cards.
As a PC gamer, I am not into the whole tick-tock release cycle.
Regards AMD

AMD don’t be suck a d***. I have an Alienware with AMD card and to be honest your drivers and support suck. Everything related to AMD made my computer a piece of crap. I yearn for an Nvidia card!
-
The Nvidifags are at it again…
-
NVIDIA OR GO HOME!
WE WANT THE TRUTH!
THE TRUTH IS NVIDIA!
ANYTHING ELSE MEANS YOU SHOULD GET THE F*CK OUT. AND GO HOME.
NVIDIA

Ur lame if u think nvidia is best thats a fad I have both amd and nvidia and I prefer amd though both are good in whatever they do and Im not taking sides
-
nividia made an android thats cool…
-
-
wel ur board probly dosent run amd to good. i think with most motherboard with built in gpu its best to use the type or graphic card that built in…

-
@Shapeshifter. I like nVidia better because AMD takes so long to optimize the games for their drivers.

“What’s your gaming gear going to look like in 2014? Are you getting a PS4?”
I’ve already got my PS4 half paid for at a local game store, I’m committed at this point.
I just recently bought a Wii U (Zelda bundle! I hope this thing doesn’t end up just gathering dust in a couple months…)
My friends seem to be all about the Xbox One. I might pick one up, but not at launch. I don’t want Kinect at all, so I might get one sooner if they give us one without that accessory.
I already have a Vita (which I enjoy quite a bit) and a 3DS XL. (which I barely play, but Pokemon just came out…)-
pokemon alright iam at the begining trying fo figure out what pokemon the cute pokemon but i think i needed the mega stone but my team full and a need a surfing pokemon to skip past the first battle…. was thinking about getting the wii u jus fo da zelda…

I could be wrong but that “test” port looks like a Kensington security slot.
