宗教法人が落札したものの、最終的に購入を断念したため行われた在日本朝鮮人総連合会（朝鮮総連）中央本部（東京都千代田区）の土地建物の再入札で、最も高い価格を付けた人を決める「開札」が１７日、東京地裁であり、モンゴルの会社とみられるＡｖａｒ Ｌｉｍｉｔｅｄ Ｌｉａｂｉｌｉｔｙ Ｃｏｍｐａｎｙが５０億１０００万円で落札した。入札の下限額は前回と同じ約２１億３０００万円で、入札は２件だった。
最高額入札者の適格性などに問題がなければ、２２日に地裁が売却許可の決定を出す。決定の確定日から通常１カ月以内に代金納付期限が指定され、納付されれば所有権移転登記が行われて、北朝鮮の「大使館」的な役割を果たしてきた中央本部が第三者の手に渡ることになる。
