VueScan is an application for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux that is compatible with over 2100 scanners from 35 scanner manufacturers. If your scanner is no longer supported by your Operating System, or you want more advanced features, download VueScan today.
VueScan works on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. It supports older scanners that don't work on newer operating systems, including most Canon LiDE, Epson Perfection, Nikon CoolScan and HP OfficeJet scanners.
VueScan can output scanned documents, photos, and film in PDF, JPEG and TIFF formats. It can also recognize text using OCR and create multi-page pdfs using both flatbed scanners and scanners with automatic document feeders.
We built VueScan so that two completely different types of users can use it. 'Guide me' mode guides you step by step through the scanner process. The Advanced mode lets you unlock powerful features to have complete control over your scan.

VueScan works with the Fujitsu fi-6670A on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
If you're using Windows and you've installed a Fujitsu driver, VueScan's built-in drivers won't conflict with this. If you haven't installed a Windows driver for this scanner, VueScan will automatically install a driver.
You can use this scanner on Mac OS X and Linux without installing any other software.
On Linux, you need to set up libusb device protections.
On Windows, make sure the ScanSnap Manager isn't running before running VueScan.
If you have an iPad, iPhone, Android phone/tablet or Kindle Fire, you can use VueScan Mobile with WiFi scanners or the built-in camera to scan documents.
