Global warming pause 'central' to IPCC climate report
(ここではあえて“pause”を「停止」と訳す。)
最近の温暖化の「停止」の開始は2002年ごろの海洋上層の熱吸収の急増に一致
これは温室効果ガスにより取り込まれたが海洋表面化に沈んで始まったのかもしれない。
しかしながら、地球温暖化停止の継続は2004年以降も続き、海洋表面の取り込みは減少
海洋表面の熱の取り込みの減少の原因を理解することが地球温暖化の停止が持続していることを説明するために重要である
→つまり、地球温暖化の停止が海の熱吸収とは断定できない。どこかのア○新聞(経済バ○新聞だが時々まともな科学の記事があるのだが・・・)の社説が「気温上昇の鈍化の原因も海が熱を吸収し温まっているためだとわかった」というのは根拠がない話だ。

2003年にIPCCが発表した地球温暖化予想を検証したが、気象庁公表値がアンサンブル予想最低値のさらに下になってしまった(しかもメンバー数がたったの3・・・これで意味があるのか??)

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has claimed that inceased carbon dioxide (CO2)causes global warming and we must reduce CO2 emissions urgently.
Is it true?
In this blog, I show you that the CO2 concentration in the atmosphere is not related to the global mean temperature. And I warn you that we must say good bye to the IPCC’ s false suggestions.
Methods
I used data from Japan Meteorological Society as the resources of the CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere and the global mean temperature.
I used the data at 3 sites in Japan (Rohri,Iwate, Minami-torishima and
Yonakunishima) as the representatives of the CO2 concentration because the CO2 concentration has been reported to be increasing globally.
Data of the global mean temperature devitaions can be obtained from;
Data of the CO2 concentrations in the 3 sites in Japan can be obtained from;
Linear regression analysis was performed to assess the correlation between the CO2 concentration and the global mean temperature.
Results
Fig.1 shows that the CO2 concentration in the atmosphere has been increasing each year during 1987 and 2011,with R^2=0.9881,
Fig.2 shows the trend of the global temperature.
During 1987 and 2011, the global mean tempature appears to be rising each year.
However,there seems to be little incrasing tendency during 1998 and 2011,with R^2=0.0179 (data not shown) Fig.3 shows the relation between the CO2 concentration in the atmosphere and the deviations of the global mean temperature.
The coefficient of determination is 0.4829
There seems to be little inceasing tendency in the global mean temperature above 360 ppm of the CO2 concentrations, (i.e.later than year1998)
Therefore, I assess the part during 1987 and 1998(Fig.4) and the one during 1998 and 2011 (Fig.5) separately.
Fig.4 shows the relation between the CO2 concentration and the deviations of the global mean temperarture during 1987 and 1998.
The coefficient of determination is 0.2334,that is, the correlation coefficient is 0.47
This correlation seems weaker as compared than during 1987 and 2011.
Fig.5 shows the relation between the CO2 concentraion and the deviations of the global mean temperarture during 1998 and 2011.
The coefficient of determination is 0.0124,that is ,the correlation coefficient is 0.11
This indicates that there is little ,if any, correlation between the CO2 concentration in the atmosphere and the deviations of the global mean temperature.
Conclusion
As we have seen above,there is little ,if any, correlation between the CO2 concentration,which has constantly been increasing each year and the global mean temperature,which has little inceasing tendency recently.
The IPCC should discard ,at the least.,its assertion that “emissions of carbon dioxide due to human activities continue to alter the atmosphere in ways that are expected to affect the climate
