Parted Magic is an OS that runs from a CD/DVD or USB drive independent of your installed OS. No installation is necessary. The ISO file needs to be burned to a CD/DVD as an image, so simply copying the ISO file directly to a CD/DVD will not work. Read these instructions to burn this ISO image to a CD or DVD so it can be booted from your BIOS menu when the computer is first turned on. You may need to adjust BIOS to boot from a CD/DVD instead of your installed OS.
