Already there are people being pretty rude on a new server (Adamantoise).
And I am quite shocked, in all honesty. Within a week, people are already asking for groups of people for HM Garuda. No big deal, leveling isn't hard and getting AF gear basically puts you right past Ifrit HM easily.
That isn't the shocking part. The shocking part is seeing people say "must know fight and be fully geared, too hard to teach new people." or the best one "no scrubs please, must know fight 100%."
HONESTLY? A week in, I saw this. A WEEK. The game has barely been out, and elitists are already showing up calling the new 50s scrubs for not knowing fights.
"Go to a PUG to learn the fight please." No, that's a lot worse than a pre-made group as PUGs are.. PUGs. A lot of times, you get groups that won't communicate enough, or leave on sight of a new player.
This hurts seeing all this, please, stop.
Edit: Badly worded title, woopsie.
Someone that understands and doesn't resort to "It's the internet."
Internet gaming wasn't always about speed running an MMO to get top gear within a week of release and calling players that aren't speed running "scrubs" because they didn't hit 50, or because they decided they don't find it fun to go to a database or strategy guide on YouTube for every bit of information. It takes the fun away from an MMO, it's not FUN to look up "PERFECT STRATEGY FOR BEATING ________!!"
What happened to learning as you played the game for yourself with a group of players? Is it that bad to try and enjoy an MMO and not take it as a job?
