Dramatic footage as a landslide sweeps away 28 houses and 6 hectares of farmland in China's Sichuan Province.

More than 1,400 villagers in the Caopo Township have been evacuated after rocks and earth poured down a mountain slope, blocking a river and turning it into a barrier lake.

Hundreds of soldiers, police officers and local officials helped move villagers to safety with rescue efforts still under way to relocate the remaining 2000 residents.
