John Paul II will be a saint - level 3

The Vatican has announced that the late Pope John Paul II will become a saint after he apparently performed two miracles.

The first miracle that John Paul performed was when he asked God to cure a French nun of Parkinson's disease. This led to his beatification in 2011, when he was declared "blessed" of the Church.

The second miracle attributed to John Paul was when he cured a woman from Costa Rica who prayed for him to help with her medical condition on the day of his beatification.

Two confirmed miracles are usually required under Vatican rules for the declaration of a saint.

Interesting words: late (dead), miracle (something great that cannot be explained by science easily), nun (woman who lives for God), beatification (making someone special for God and is going to be a saint), attribute (say someone did something).
