Airing two hours early this week because of the elections.

Pinion is given a warehouse full of ancient tech and a device that lets him see their insides by just pointing it at them, and told to freely work on them. Lobster lady tries to get him to help her out (she wants Chamber on her side, especially)

Ledo heads over to Striker/Kugel. Striker is sitting on a giant robot sized gold throne. He asks Kugel to call off the attack on Gargantia, but he refuses, saying that enlightenment is necessary to turn Earth into a second Avalon.

Ship captain talks to Pinion accompanied by Melty, saying that the people of this fleet are all like ghosts, with dead eyes. Melty says it's like they're possessed. Pinion tells them about how there're people (Lobster) planning to rebel.

Ledo reminisces about Gargantia when it starts raining. The people of the fleet spread their arms, look up at the sky, and start going WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO like fucking ghosts.

Suddenly some people bring a bunch of old and sick people in straightjackets out on cards, hood them, and dump them into the sea.

Because you know according to the alliance the weak and sick are pointless and deserve to die.

Ledo says this isn't one he came here for. Pinion says they're fucking crazy. Lobster pops out of nowhere and tells Pinion that the fleet is heading for Gargantia.

The rain brings Pinion's hair down and washes off the stupid mark on his face. He takes off his goggles and is determined to do something. Ledo, too, decides he wants to protect Gargantia and Amy.

Chamber tells Ledo his orders and waits for Ledo's decision.

Ledo says that he's supposed to make the decisions while Chamber just helps him out, but that he's never really ever made any decisions. This changes now.

He asks Chamber if he can take on Striker. It's possible.

He asks Chamber if he can take on Kugel. Chamber doesn't know.

Pinion shows up.

Small timeskip, Ledo is now working with Pinon's group. Melty is heading to Gargantia to warn them.

Chamber prepares for battle.

EYECATCH

Melty meets up with Amy but is too fatigued to say anything and passes out.

Another small timeskip

Glasses captain says all they can do is run, there's no way they can take on the Kugel fleet. Amy protests, saying that Ledo plans to fight, and that they shouldn't leave him fighting alone.

Doctor says they have to choose. USE THE KEY.

Kugel prepares to head out, but Ledo comes out with Chamber and stands in front of him.

Looks like Pinion salvaged some weapons because Chamber now has a gatling gun, among other things.

Pinion and his fleet start attacking the Kugel fleet, helped by lobster lady and her pirate army.

Chamber says that the Striker is stronger and advises Ledo to focus attacks on the head, Ledo says he doesn't want to kill Kugel.

Pinion helps out with a yunboro equipped with an ancient laser cannon., which gives Ledo the chance to tackle the Striker and smash it into a tower.

Kugel starts talking funny (stuff he'd said before).

Ledo opens the cockpit. Yep he's been dead all along.

Striker gives up the gig and switches back to her voice, and flies off while Ledo is still shocked.

RESISTANCE IS FUTILE she says. with an exposed cockpit with the headless corpse still in it.

SUGITA: REPERCUSSIONS OF GUNDUM

Sugita Tomokazu waited. The lights above him blinked and sparked out of the air. There were robots in the anime. He didn’t see them, but had expected them now for years. His warnings to Tereda Takanovu were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway.
Sugita was a voice acter for fourteen years. When he was young he watched the gundums and he said to dad “I want to be in the gundums daddy.”
Dad said “No! You will BE KILL BY ZEONS”
There was a time when he believed him. Then as he got oldered he stopped. But now in the recording stations of the animes he knew there were zeons.
“This is Urobutchy” the radio crackered. “You must fight the squids!”
So Sugita gotted his palsma rifle and blew up the wall.
“HE GOING TO KILL US” said the squids
“I will look at him” said the squid girl and she looks at him cutely. Sugita plasmaed at her and tried to blew her up. But then the ceiling fell and they were trapped and not able to kill.
“No! I must ride the gundums!” he shouted
The radio said “No, Sugita. You are the robbots”
And then Sugita was a chamber

I just rewatched the episode on Bandai Channel and man the action was great.

I love the cockpit cuts especially. It's clearly Unicorn's influence but who cares, they're fucking fantastic.
