MICROSOFT
Microsoft did not want to tie up in-house resources on performance enhancement and maintenance issues on UniDrv (Microsoft's data driven printer driver architecture for Windows). Microsoft outsourced this work to Software Imaging, so was able to focus its engineers on other projects. Software Imaging set up a dedicated team which handled this work for Microsoft for several years.
”We have been pleased with the technical quality of Software Imaging’s code deliverables, and have no hesitation in recommending Software Imaging’s technical capability in imaging development.” – Worldwide Business Development Manager, Microsoft Corporation
MAJOR JAPANESE PRINTER MANUFACTURER
A major Japanese printer manufacturer was launching a large number of new devices at one time. If it had tried to resource these all devices in-house, it would have failed to deliver on time resulting in lost market share and lost revenue. It decided to partner with Software Imaging, who provided the drivers for a whole range of devices, enabling the manufacturer to meet its time to market requirement and grow market share.
