I am leaving the EITC

Journal Entry: Sun May 12, 2013, 1:24 PM
Or perhaps "I've left the EITC" is a better title, as I'm no longer a member?

I seriously hate what the group has turned into. I've been telling myself that "it's just a phase, it will be over soon…" because similar things have happened in the past, and they have sort of passed… But appearantly not this one, and I'm running out of patience.

In the beginning, I joined the EITC because a "online" friend of mine suggested the group to me. I've always been open-minded by nature and so I decided to join, even though I had heard a lot of other DA-members complain about it… I thought I should at least give it a chance and see for myself if it was rly as bad as some wanted to point out.

Well, what can I say? The leader (at that time, he hasn't been online in a long time) seemed a little… strange? But other then that I thought everyone was rly helpful and kind, and because of the groups great number of members, whenever someone needed help they got it… and fast. To this day I have to admit that the EITC has been the most helpful MMD community I've ever been a part of.

As for me I didn't actually join the group to get access to rare models. I've always been more of a "collector" at heart, and so I've always found it more "rewarding" to trade models then to just download them. I didn't mind however that people from that site gave out links to (for example) Windows 100% and MelonBooks models. That was their own business. I admit, I also uploaded a few links to some models to the files, but I made sure to never upload any edits made by users from DA (where the distribution had ended), and I never uploaded a file there if someone I had traded with told me not to. (For example the AA Miku everyone now have access to... I wonder how that actually happened?).

I even accepted that my own edits (which were only available for a limited time) got uploaded to the group files. Even my SeeU Miku edit became uploaded, although the only thing they had to do to get that particular model was to ask me for it.

But the group is not what it once was. It has turned from a helpful community into uhm… well, what should I call it? A group for hate, drama and harassment? It has always been some conflict between the EITC and some members from DA, but they've never been as bad as now. And to be frank, I'm just so tired of it. Whenever I scroll through the posts of the group nowadays, most things I see are posts about this-and-that person saying this-and-that. And this-and-that person writing a journal about this-and-that. I bet for example that this journal will get posted there as well.

So, for short. I'm just too tired to stay there.

I'm sorry.

I miss that group a lot lol. I followed them while the Inorhe drama and maybe for months. There was a time that I stopped looking at them for no reason. I forgot about them. But now its just full of model parts D8.
And yeah..people getting AA miku's is strange but well.

Oh, and also, I was the one distributing that Miku. I'm sorry. Less than 10 people got it.

Well, I don't blame you. I understand most would have done the same...

If they knew that they couldn't get the model anymore, they might send me, or someone who got the model, one of those viruses.

I heard they would upload a file stating it was "AA Miku" in the group, but it would instead be a virus... To fool people who were not members (as the members got her by note).

Though that's just a rumor. I have no idea if it's true.

I think it's true...I haven't been checking, but an EITC member wrote that on their profile.

In fact, I hadn't wanted to give out that model at all (except to those people whom I trusted). And I don't understand this: [link]
