Hi there, It has been so long since I updated my journal, more than 1 year and 3 months If I remember.
I've got so many questions about how I scan my traditional artworks, I also wanted to try out my deviantart Sta.sh storage, so I've uploaded some scanned files and put them on this journal.

Here's my method.
: I use HP G4050 scanner
: My current working OS is Windows 7, but I always use Windows XP to scan my artworks
: I always put 2 bluish-tint transparent films under my pictures when scanning. [You can buy transparent film at stationery stores.]
: Then adjust colors with photoshop, I always set contrast to [+12] or [+14] and I always use legacy contrast.
: I also adjust sharpness sometimes.
[filter>sharpen>unsharp mask> and adjust radius to : +1 pixels.
: Remove all eraser dust using clone stamp tool and it's done.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.

Ok. I've seriously known why some modelers distribute only to Japanese and I'm about to go their side even if I told myself that I would be in the neutral side of everything.

Which is one of the reasons why I didn't go with the Valentine's giveaway.

But, seriously, I've seen some bad things happen between the two sides.

Recently, one of the members of the EITC got her request to join a certain community rejected harshfully by a modeler,

then there is also the reporting of many links and people still manage to put it up even when they say not to,

there's also the fact that some people from the EITC just don't know when to stop or shut up.

There is also, not only modelers, but also game makers and famous MMDers who quit all because of some stupid people who don't even bother to THINK BEFORE THEY ACT.

I really wanted to try to change something in the relationship between them, but looks like all I see is it getting worse.

So what the heck is the point of making all those rants and what the heck is the point of crying and worrying about this problem?
