Is it bad that I'm hoping for this to happen? His crazy speeches at the end of Seed were the best part.

this cements it:

I-Haruto all the way to ep 24, no upgrade for him. It probably is the only one with the 666 mode
II- L-Elf ride for 2nd cour, he needs it to fight A-drei and gang. Also to have the fated battle with Haruto
III- Bully, since he wants a robot to get revenge on Dorrsia. Since III is a Power Type it fits him
IV- Saki, wants to get near Haruto even if it costs her humanity.
V- Jewbro, wants to protect his best friend Haruto at all costs. Mass producing Valvraves could make some MAD shekels.
VI- Hobogirl, since she's so detached from reality becoming a vampire might be interesting to her. VI is all about data gathering with all those sensors, another plus.
VII- Rau le Creuset final boss ride. He'll reveal to have planned it all since the beginning so he could become a God

Interesting that we see the "restraints" aren't actually holding the mecha in place; they are actually stakes/needles that are perplexing in nature.

Normally if you store something, you wouldn't deliberately have pointy things surrounding it like an Iron Maiden. It just seems they are not worried about the mecha getting their paint scratched. And it just seems like the VVVs are held down in some complex trap system so they can't move on their own.

Okay, in rough order.


Students indulge in freedom, do silly things like knock food off of supermarket shelves, draw naked chicks on the ground, run around in wedding dresses, other things. Also more space Twitter, a little bit of ARUS politicking, and a speech from the Dorssian leader who is, of course, voiced by Koyasu.


Meanwhile, though, the module eventually runs out of power, causing Akira to lose her shit as her battlestation goes offline, and as snow falls and the students start freezing, that blonde chick and her two dogsbodies start laying into Shoko as she tries to lift spirits. They end up getting into a bit of a catfight with Saki and some other chick, and the former bites the blonde on the wrist at some point in the fracas for...some reason. The situation is made calm again when Shoko randomly starts single Jingle All the Way, and the bully and military otaku get the power back online after some wandering, the former injuring himself in keeping the otaku hanging in the air, because what he needs to work on hangs over a sheer drop. Then there's a random song sequence spurred after Haruto and Shoko convince Saki to sing, wacky hijinks, etc. L-Elf, meanwhile, has been working in the bowels of the module.


The episode ends when Haruto and Saki discover all the currently seen Valvrave models within the colony. Saki and Haruto have a little moment, and it ends up with the former kissing the latter. Cue the Valvrave asking 'Is this sexual intercourse?', end scene.

I disagree. The women in Gundam AGE, including the ones that were trained professionals, were useless even in the context of the plot, other than to die quickly or make babies.

Here you have a bunch of stupid school kids who behave like stupid school kids, but at least play a semi-active role in the events in a couple of other ways (and some might get to pilot stuff shortly too).
