Due to an unforseen message sent to me by Bushiroad I have to disclose that Cardfight!! Vanguard Pro is not being released in respect to Bushiroad's wanting the production of it stopped. Please understand I am sorry for anyone's expectations being crushed but I do not want to cause a fracas I'm better off letting go with a great company that makes a great game. As you know, Bushiroad is the developer and publisher of the "Cardfight!! Vanguard". Bushiroad's substantial investments in the "Cardfight!! Vanguard" game and its related properties have resulted in Bushiroad's ownership of substantial intellectual property rights in the names, graphic elements, and designs incorporated into the "Cardfight! Vanguard" game.

It is our understanding that you are developing the online game called "Cardfight!! Vanguard Pro (PRO)", which is based on and derived from "Cardfight!! Vanguard".
It is also our understanding that the PRO game features highly similar or identical rules and game design as compared to those features in the "Cardfight!! Vanguard" game.
Finally, it is our understanding that the design and pictures of the game cards used in PRO are identical to those used in the "Cardfight!! Vanguard" game.

If you distribute the PRO game, our valuable intellectual property rights have been misappropriated through your actions.
Therefore, please be advised that we hereby demands that you immediately cease and desist any and all development and releasing movies of the PRO game and that you immediately remove and dispose of any and all developed pictures, system and the other products of the PRO game. We request that you take such action within 24 hours of receipt of this message.
We further asks that you confirm that you have taken such action, and that no further development, publication or distribution of the PRO game, or any other game that includes intellectual property belonging to Bushiroad, will occur.

wish there was a way to do the damage like its suppose to be done

but I guess the work around will have to do unless someone else can think of something?

I would gladly change it if someone can recommend a suitable option but after hours of working it out on paper it's the only viable option at the moment.

I still don't know how I'm gonna do the support for backrow units because I just found out the gui doesn't let 'monsters' in the Spell & Trap zone so I'm gonna need to improvise.

ya same thing happened for people wanting the 10 monster card zone for the Anime Seal of Orichalcos but it was never program right.

Thanks Jack about your everyday update info about your VanguardPro:thup but Percy has right about that topic is only for ygopro projects and not for example for VanguardPro projects so you better the next info or release about this project become on Off-Topic threat!!;) By the way guys who so badly want to play Vanguard cardfight at this moment and they have not problem about japanese text, i bet they already know that the no free version of the game has already released in japan!!:) I wonder if this game has limit break but konami it seem like still have some money so i was not suprised if actually this game has limit and ultimate break feature!!:P

Really? Give this card a try in game, I swear the game lets me set this to use it's effect and you might be able to find clues to get monsters in the backrow.

1- i never heard of this before so...¿what is card fight?
2- ¿how its supposed to be played?
3- about the cards, ¿are custom made by you or already made for some company like konami?

Well to answer all of your questions.

1. Cardfight!! Vanguard is a card game much like Yugioh that has been around for a good year and a half or so.
2. The way it works is you have 'units' which are the monsters for the game like in Yugioh. This game has no spell or traps, only monsters (units). The goal of the game is to attack your opponent's 'Vanguard' enough times to make the opponent have 6 damage. Then the game is over.
3. All cards used are owned by Bushiroad(c), same how Yugioh is owned by Konami.
4.Well it's sort of different for every card. Some let you increase the power of units. Some let you destroy units or so on. Think of it like Yugioh since it's very similar to it.

The game has an anime like Yugioh does that is very good and I'd recommend you watch it if you wish to learn how to play the game. The first episode is here:

And all episodes are on that same youtube account in english. Although if you search on youtube you can find japanese episodes with english subtitles.

its good you got the damage system up and running...

so a couple question..

how is the damage system going to handle when the 6 damage is a Heal Trigger??

and how far card wise is the first version the game going to be?

Well when I get to the actual programming of the win condition I'll put in an exception condition or something.

As for cards, first release will just be the Royal Paladin Trial deck basically and with updates over time different clans will be added. (Kagero, Oracle TT, etc)

Well actually I was thinking the same thing but due to the breakthroughs I've been getting, it may make the deadline very early instead of the end of May/ June like I said. All that's left is all 4 trigger effects (Heal, Critical, Draw, and stand), a guarding/ intercepting system, a zone system to tell the game when a card is on the vanguard circle and such, and lastly the riding system which I will leave for last. Although be warned, I will take my breaks when I want to >:3

I know this may be asking too much but is there anyway the first card release could be both Trial Deck 1 and 2 so its just not all Royal Paladin Trial Decks for the first few days??

again i understand this maybe asking too much =(
