Started in 1999, CARQUEST Technical Institute (CTI) focuses on one simple mission: To conduct World-Class training for professional technicians and automotive service facility owners and managers. What does CTI Provide?
CTI offers training in a variety of flexible learning formats, including classroom, hands-on, e-learning, and self-paced courses. We also recognize that the industry is constantly changing and that new products and services are being introduced all the time. This is why CTI offers a number of tools to extend the learning beyond the classroom. The CTI approach involves a dynamic combination of both theoretical, classroom-based instruction and real world experience that enables participants to discover the best way to apply theory to their own day-to-day work environment.
CARQUEST Virtual Vehicle
What is Virtual Vehicle?
Virtual Vehicle is an online support program for automotive service professionals that will simplify the communication between service professionals and their customers. It is designed specifically as a tool for service professionals that will assist as they explain why and what services and repairs are needed.
The simplified animations of vehicle parts and systems will allow service professionals to easily illustrate over 165 of the most common customer vehicle concerns (and counting!). Some examples are:
- Why a timing belt needs to be replaced
- What effect warped brake disks/rotors have
- Why fuel injectors need to be cleaned
