George Osborne's tear, shed for Margaret Thatcher at her funeral service.

Presented in a crystal vial, with decorative stopper fashioned lovingly from pewter into the image of Milton Friedman.

It goes without saying that this item is one of a kind, never seen before or since. And this is reflected in the asking price.

The proceeds from this sale will go to the Arts Council.

A: We would like to be able to say we managed to wipe the smirk from Gideon's face at the same time as we snatched the Tear, but unfortunately the smirk is well and truly stuck to his face.

Q: Can you guarantee that no onions were hurt during the production of the item?

A: We might be able to arrange a sale of the onion. But don't tell everyone. We'll see what we can do.
