PURPOSE: To obtain a food which is simply loosened in the mouth when it is used for food and has a feeling like packed meat, in high productivity, by making longitudinal parallel cuts on a beltlike paste product of fish meat, cutting it, dropping it on a conveyor to give complicatedly conjugated materials, and bundling the complicatedly conjugated materials.
CONSTITUTION: (a) The beltlike paste product 1 of fish meat is passed through the rollers 2 and 2' and made into a long filamentous material. Preferably the paste product of fish meat is separated into ribbons, and it may be connected by one thin skin. Then, (b) the long filamentous paste product 1 is cut into a given length by the cutter 4 having protruded blades in the radius direction of the peripheral face of the rollers 2 and 2'. Then (c) the paste product of fish meat made into short fibers and transported on the conveyor 5 is droped on the other conveyor 7. Then, (d) a short fiber group arranged slantingly in a row is molded into a rod state or a lamellar state, and when the molding is difficult to maintain, the fibers are bonded by adding a proper binder. Or, after the molding is over, the surface of the fish meat is covered to give a product.
