Japan Set To Join TPP Talks As Nod Expected From U.S. This Week

TOKYO (Kyodo)--Japan and the United States are likely to conclude this week their preparatory talks on the Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade negotiations, clearing the way for Japan to join the full-fledged talks involving 11 nations in July at the earliest, government sources said Tuesday.
