UK retail sales grow as Leeds complex opens
A new £350m shopping and leisure development in Leeds has opened its doors for business.
The Trinity Leeds development is the largest retail centre to open in the UK this year at 1,000,000 sq ft (92,900 sq m).
It opened its doors as the UK retail sector received a boost - February's sales figures were 2.1% higher than those for January, and 2.6% higher than the same month in 2012.
Emma Simpson reports.
