(PRLEAP.COM) Traditionally Christian schools don’t have the resources to accept children who aren’t traditional learners, however, CLCS School Foundation will accept kids with special needs, attention deficit disorders and autism. But this is not just a school for special needs children. The need is to build and facilitate a K-12 school for not just Christian families, but where the curriculum is Christian-based.

The school, now in a former church on Grant Street, Mercer - state standards have been passed and open in August.

Jeremiah Wann, President of Imperial Systems Inc. located just outside of Mercer, Pennsylvania first heard of this idea from a few neighbors and some familiar faces at Grove City Alliance Church. Wann said he feels a certain responsibility to the community as a local business owner.

"What really motivated the employees was they saw what the community and business owners were doing to support the building and foundation" said Jeremiah Wann.

Jeremiah Wann and Imperial Systems Inc. received a long list of things they could assist with; including lighting, classroom work, painting and gardening. "We looked at list and said, with everyone’s help and creativity we could do all of these things", said Wann.

The community continues to pour out their resources in the small town of Mercer, Pennsylvania. Creative Learning Christian School is grateful for the helping hands - not only the business owners, but also the students in local schools, parents, church communities and town people.

The school now hosts 25 students, most of which are full-time in three grade levels per classroom.
