The Bad River Watershed Association has formed a team for this year's Bayfield Winter Festival Polar Bear Plunge to raise funds for BRWA and the Bayfield Rec Center.

On March 2, 2013 we'll jump into icy Lake Superior to show our support for these organizations that add to the quality of life for our Chequamegon Bay area community.

We have a team goal of raising $2,000.  Any amount will help us reach our goal.  All donations are tax deductible.

brwa10logoThe Bad River Watershed Association (BRWA) is a community organization that works to involve all citizens in taking care of and enjoying their home watershed.  We accomplish this by conducting educational programs and forums about how our watershed can be affected by the decisions we make.  In addition, we assist citizens to
gather information, identify problems and implement solutions to maintain the integrity of the watershed for future generations.

The BRWA envisions a future in which change and development within the watershed grow from a stewardship ethic that seeks to minimize ecological damage, while maximizing ecological and community health.
