New ang gong + update on hair colour

So I decided to get a set of angel wings yesterday... It's now half completed. Next tattooing session will be on Sunday~ Took 1.5 hrs to do this wing and the entire tattooing process was SHEER TORTURE

This is my first tattoo... I got it around Jan this yr?? This is an old picture btw

Getting a tattoo on your back is like 999999999999999 times more painful than getting one on your arm! I bled a whole lot more too. Anyway my tattoo tip of the day is to think twice, thrice, four times and so on before you get a tattoo on your back because it is MOTHERFUCKING PAINFUL like nobody's business. I don't regret getting my wing. Imo it's fucking dope LOL

People tend to ask why I get tattoos in such obvious places. I actually took into serious consideration the location of my tattoos before I got them. I want my tattoos in places that can be seen cos I think it's pretty pointless getting inked when nobody can see the tattoo but I don't wanna affect my future jobscope as well. If you think about it, the locations of my tattoos are not really that obvious; if I wore a t-shirt, nobody would be able to tell that I have tattoos.

Anyway, I decided that my hair colour didn't suit me. Guess it made my hair look even messier than it's supposed to be

Have since dyed it caramel brown... I used palty's diy hair dye but if you can't find it, maybe you can try beauteen? Beauteen has a DIY hair dye kit under 'Caramel Brown' as well.

DIY hair dye

I am a firm believer of DIY dye jobs because it's convenient, cheap and there's a higher chance of getting the exact hair colour you want.

It's convenient cos I can do it at anytime of the day, even at 3am. I find it extremely annoying to make appointments at hair salons because often enough, something else would crop up and I would not be able to keep the appointment. Why should I wait to change my hair colour? A wide range of self hair dyes are also easily available at any supermarket or healthcare stores.

Obviously, diy hair dyes are also comparatively cheap to a salon dye job. You can get a box of bleach and hair dye for around $10 each while a bleach/dye job at an average hair salon would set you back about $70?

Furthermore, if you don't choose the right hair salon to go to, the hair dressers there might not have enough experience/talent to concoct the exact hair colour that you chose. Paying more for a colour that I did not pick is more than enough to ruin my day. Some hair dressers will even lamely insist that asians cannot achieve bright hair colours as our hair is naturally black. Fuck that, I say!

It is SO easy to get platinum blonde hair. Just buy 3 bottles of bleach, spend 1.5 hrs bleaching your hair at home and tadah, your hair will be completely devoid of all black pigments.

It is extremely easy to get the exact hair colour you want by looking at the back of diy hair dye boxes...

Bleach for the amount of time stipulated on the back of the box to get your desired brightness

Bleach your hair accordingly to the shade of brown you want your hair to be

This is my latest DIY hair job... Did it on the spur of the moment just now.

Before:

After 1/2 hr of bleaching:

After 1/2 hr of dyeing:

Good DIY hair dyes always come with a packet of hair treatment for longer lasting colour and to prevent damage to hair

Shall take pictures of my new hair colour tomorrow! Excited :)
