    ^ Wow thanks so much!! I'm so glad I caught your message because I actually went out to look for some treatments earlier today and I was recommended some of the Organix products haha. I saw a lot of people say positive things about the coconut milk shampoo and conditioner and argan oil so I purchased them. Now I'm all cautious. Can you tell me why you didn't like their products? Did you have a bad experience with them? Oh! and I did purchase the macadamia deep repair mask today. I'm really excited to try it and seeing that you suggested it is even more reassuring^^!

    Do you have any thoughts on these products? I purchased these today as well.

    Matrix Biolage Hydratherapie Conditioning Balm

    It's a 10 miracle leave in plus keratin

    Thanks again for all your help^^ I appreciate it a lot!!

    @aj8288 You're welcome ^_^ I tried my best.
    Well, at first Organix products seemed really great you know? All these trending hair care products found all in one brand, available at drug stores all around: keratin, macadamia, argan, coconut, tea tree, etc etc. I was really tempted to buy all that stuff too until I read reviews. Most of them (if not all) have horrible reviews like it's "fake" organic, not nourishing at all, no results may be seen, and leaves hair worse off than before using them. I tried out Organix's Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum and went through 3 bottles of it. Honestly, I didn't even see any results. It just did what any other serum did which was make your hair shinier and smoother to the touch. I even made a thread here on Soompi asking if people thought it was good and no one replied XD. Also, I noticed that Organix products never sell out at drug stores, so a lot of stores try to have a buy one get one free type of thing to get them off their shelves.

    The Deep Repair Mask I've always wanted to try! It's $20 though so it's a big investment for a hair product. From what everyone's said though it's a can't live without product. :) So I hope it goes really well for you.

    I haven't used Matrix or It's a 10 Products but I've considered buying from the Biolage line before. And it's funny that the one item I was looking at was exactly what you've bought! Reviews say it's a miracle product and transforms frizzy, damaged hair after continuous use. It's Paraben free too which I really like. I support it, despite having not used it before :)
    From what I've seen about It's a 10 products though is either hit or miss. Some people swear that the products do all they claim to do, some people say otherwise and that it was a waste of money. I'm sorry I have no other thoughts on that line though >.<

    I hope I helped you ^^

    @FloOwuffBB Hahahah that is so true!! When I went to get my stuff, the Organix line was completely stocked and there was also a sale for it.

    I saw at ulta online that they're selling travel sizes of the deep repair mask for $4. Here's the link in case you wanna try it out ^^:
    http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/category.jsp;jsessionid=3BA7B2506B775CB96159DC0B328E00D8.pr-a2-app1?categoryId=cat1050001&promoPage=isNew&sortBy=minSkuUltaPrice&pageName=&brandId=&maxPr=&minPr=&pr=

    Oh! And I tried the biolage balm last night and it made my hair so soft and silky! I love it so much! If you get a chance, you should definitely try it out!! I let it sit in my hair for an hour before I washed it out. I can see why people would buy this in tub sizes. It works so well^^!!

    Have you tried anything by Lee Stafford or Kerastase? I'm looking into those products too. If you have, please let me know what you think^^

    Thanks again for everything! Your advice helps a lot^^

    OH WOW that looks wicked!!! I've been wanting to dye my hair pastel ash pink for ages but i'm rather scared of drying my hair out. Which bleach did you use and how many times did you bleach it for? What volume developer? I've read that Loreal Quick Blue is really good? Have you come across any shampoo that will prevent bleached hair from fading to orange? Uggh i love your hair!!

    xFloOwuffBB  All the brands I love! Esp.PM's skinny serum. Currently using Chi iron guard, smells like cologne but makes my hair soft and less damaged. ;)

    Hello everyone! (my first post lolol)
    Well to start off.. my virgin hair was extreamly black. It took many many many attempts to get rid of my black hair color.
    I used Golden Brown at first, and the results were pretty okay.. but after awhile I got really tired of light hair. So I dyed it again, and now I have dark a brown-ish hair color. Unfortunately, I still have a tint of orange-gy in the sun. LOL

    Was it worth it: I'm a pretty happy, but I have really damaged hair after all of the hair dying. ):
    Pretty color! Suits you nicely.

    Did you use Palty to achieve this color? It looks great!

    @studdedhearts:
    I generally use Hi Lift Bleach Powder and Innovative's 30vol Creme Developer, but I'm planning on changing powders soon since no shop stocks this anymore. Generally, 30vol is a good choice since 40vol just fries my ends and 20vol does almost nothing. Over about 3 months, I brought dyed red hair to platinum blonde which took about 4-5 sessions + toning.
    If your hair is orange, that means you haven't bleached enough or haven't toned your hair. Since toners are really expensive, I use the cheapy method: mix lilac/purple/lavender/etc coloured dye into your conditioner and apply.
    I'm from Australia, so I've never tried the Quick Blue bleach, but I've seen a lot of results and they all look very promising!

    hi! i really need help choosing a brand of hair dye. i was looking at schwarzkopf luminance ultra violet but i'd have to buy it online (since they dont sell it in the US) and wait 2 weeks for it to ship, which i'd rather not have because i want to dye my hair as soon as i can.

    so i want bright red violet hair like this, maybe slightly more on the violet side:
    image

    i have virgin black asian hair so do i really have to bleach my hair? i want my hair like this, bright but not way over the top bright. also, if i MUST bleach my hair, do i necessarily need to dye it really pale or can i just bleach it until it's orange/yellow? i want to avoid as much damage to my hair as possible~

    i've heard of manic panic but my issue with manic panic is that they're only semi-permanent. i need a permanent hair dye so i dont have to worry about the color washing out.

    if i can get a hair dye that allows me to skip the bleaching process, that would make everything even better. yeah im sorry that im asking for a lot but i really wanna save my hair as much as possible

    thanks ^^

    Hi everyone! Just have a question about dyeing my hair color. Right now my hair color is medium to dark brown. I've been using diy boxes for the past couple years. Now I really want to try going to a lighter brown. Do you think if I choose a blonde color it will lighten my hair a bit without making it turn red/orange? I've always wanted to try choosing a blonde color to make my hair lighter but I'm scared hehe. So I always went with the safe colors such as medium brown. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! =)

    ^That's possible. I dyed my hair with Prettia and it lightened my black virgin hair into a light brown without my having to actually bleach it. However, make sure that  the hair dye you choose do not have any red or orange undertones or else... eeeek.

    @princessnana Actually that's what most people with natural dark hair do to achieve a light brown color without bleaching or professional dye. There are a ton of YouTube tutorials for this exact kind of thing too. What you have to do is get an Ash Light Blonde color (Ash to prevent weird undertones) and leave it in your hair for a long, long, long, amount of time.

    @jhae Yeah, you only need to bleach it to a orangey brown color. Doesn't need to be that light, and you could probably get to that level within one bleach session (depending on your hair) so it shouldn't be too damaging. I suggest Manic Panic. Their Vampire Red was a really nice red velvet type color and if it's still too red for you, you could buy one of their purple toned colors and mix it to create your ideal color. Red hair color washes out regardless of it being semi-permanent or permanent. Personally, I find that when I dye my hair with a permanent red color, it fades to an ugly orange color faster, but semi-permanent stains the hair color longer. Plus, even  if the semi-permanent fades out after a few weeks, you can easily just dye your hair again since it doesn't damage your hair, as for permanent dyes, you'll have to constantly dye it and damage your hair. But if you want a permanent, I really liked the Loreal Feria Power Reds (Box dye). I've also heard that the Loreal Hi Color Red Hilights (can be found at Sally Beauty Supply) are good, but I'm not too sure of which shades they have, so I'm not sure if they have the shade you're looking for.

    I had a similar color a few years ago;

    If I'm not wrong, I used Manic Panic's Vampire Red & mixed it with one of Manic Panic's turquoise colors (atomic turquoise? forgot the name). My hair was blonde before this picture and I dyed it a dark brown and than applied the semi-permanent color which gave it the tint.

    Has anyone used a semi-permanent black dye? I'm doing research for my new colour :). I just want to know what brand, how long it took to start fading and when it did, what colour it ended up.
