Turning 15, planning to have 15 or so girls at the sleepover. What are some fun games we could play to pass the time? Looking for more than just board game type stuff. Indoor games, please. Thanks.
You may want to have a look here: www.chase-games.com
This site describes an Amazing Race party plan that is great for a birthday party, sleepovers, scavenger hunt, etc and is designed for kids aged 13 – 18. The “legs” of the Amazing Race party plan sell on eBay quite cheap (like ) or they sell it through their site with PayPal.
If you are not familiar with the Amazing Race, you can learn about it here: www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race . Good Luck!

I’m looking for an online Roulette where you can spin the wheel WITHOUT betting. I want to calculate odds without having to place an actual bet. Does one exist? Please include any withdrawal fees. Thank you.
The odds will be exactly the same with every spin. They are not compounding. Cherry red is a good one but honestly mate if you think you are going to make your fortune at roulette you are mistaken. It is a total mugs game. Especially online. They are heavily fixed. Sure the odd person may win a little here and there but the vast majority will lose. Even in a casino you are kidding yourself if you think it is a long term way to make some cash. You here alot about these double up roulette systems being flawless but the fact is that they are not. In real life on a real wheel you may see some profit for a while but online they are fixed to the hills. Infact the only game that people play against the casino which is not a mugs game is blackjack and even their odds are heavily in favour of the house.

Is it okay for well-meaning family members to buy tickets and scratch cards since they are affordable and potentially promising?
Or do you think it is not reponsible to do so, and it might set a bad example?
What? I have seen kids buying them in convenience stores and at those Lottery vending machines. I live in the Metro-Atlanta, GA area. I had no idea is wasn’t legal for kids to buy them.
I rarely play the lottery. Most tickets are losing ones. The funding of educational programs in Georgia is a real mixed bag. With ALL of this lottery funding, Georgia rates almost dead last in the national educational averages through high school. With HOPE scholarship funding, we have a higher than average college graduation rate. It’s sad, but your success level in GA still depends largely on where your neighborhood is located.
Never bought a ticket for kid, but I don’t see the harm in buying them for minor relatives as a gift only. Parent’s permission would be required.
Thanks for your question and the info.

I have plenty of samples and information from various fundraising companies. I just need to know what do I do now. I want to do cookie dough, pizza discount cards, and scratch cards. I have about 14 students. How do I get everything organized ?
You need to type up some kind of newsletter with information about the fundraiser including: start date, due date for money to be turned in, how much you hope to raise, and what you will do with the funds (buy playground equipment, etc.)
However, I would suggest reading this article on fundraising for daycares: http://www.articlesbase.com/childhood-education-articles/successful-fundraising-for-daycare-centers-444788.html
It has a lot of good pointers and suggestions. For example, it suggests doing only one big fundraiser at a time (maybe twice a year) to get maximum support from the parents and not trying to do several at once.
Good Luck!

My girlfriend has this slot machine, fairly new.
I cannot provide a model # or anything but it is a fairly general question.
Inside, on the control panel where you turn it on,
she broke the key inside the on off switch.
It is like an igniton, you put the key in, turn it to on etc.
Is there anyway to replace the entire igniton?
If so, how.
Or any easier suggestions?
Ummmm, it’s got a key? Can you spell locksmith?

I will be throwing a party with a Casino theme. There will be poker, blackjack, etc.
But, what kind of music do I play? I thought at first maybe Standards, like Frank Sinatra or Tony Bennet, but that’s too boring or depressing.
I can’t play modern music like Lil Wayne or Kanye West because, it just doesn’t fit.
So what do I play?
Nah, forget the stereotype…casinos themselves play music to fit their clientele. Used to be only older folks gambled, this lounge type music was the order of the day.
Go to Vegas now…Hard Rock Casino pumps modern hard rockin tunes. Go to Mandalay Bay. They pump out Asianthemed music instrumentals.
Take a look at your party list and play to the crowd. Forget the cliche.
Cheers and have fun

I’m hosting a party in October so I have plenty of time to try and make these. We usually play poker at my parties and everyone seems to enjoy them so I want to take it to the next level and make a roulette and poker table making it a sort of casino night. Any ideas would be awesome.
You probably could make these out of cardboard and markers if you really wanted. However, they sell ‘roll out’ table tops. In other words, it looks like the entire roulette board or poker table or blackjack table, but it’s made out of cloth. You roll it out on a table and you’re good to go.
If it’s a big deal party, it would probably be worth the few bucks you’ll spend.
Below are a couple ideas from a site called the Gambler’s General Store. It’s a big place in Vegas.
(I have nothing to do with the store. Search around for similar products elsewhere.)
***EDIT***
Cool site, Andrew! Be sure to check out the link he gave.

Me and my mates just wanna have a bit of fun with a game of russian roulette (4 of us). Obviously we dont want a real gun. Something like a toy gun that can be shot in the head which will hurt a little bit to make it fun and daring but not so much that it really hurts you. Any ideas on how to play a safe version of this? Also optionally what would the rules be?

How does it really work and are guys that are addicted to sports gambling big gamling addicts?
If i a want a healthy relationship with my boyfriend, should I ask him to stop gambling in sports?
How it works is like any other gambling..you place your money against what the pros consider likely. Odds are taken depending on likelihood. If you love him you should consider seeing a cancellor… if not learn to live with it or move on.
