First and foremost shout out to e.d.g.e. for the title of the the track. Much respect. Awhile back I sent the Canadian homie some beats and here’s one of the records which is my favorite. Take a listen as e.d.g.e adds his flavor to this record

“Oh Sweet Love.”

Kendrick Lamar – Backseat Freestyle (Official Video)

From Paris, France to Compton CA, Kendrick Lamar releases the official video for his Hit-Boy produced “Backseat Freestyle.” One of my favorite joints off his debut album. The black and white visuals add a nice touch to the record as well. Check out the Jerome D, Dave Free & Kendrick Lamar directed “Backseat Freestyle” after the jump.

Thornbro feat. Mary Yount – Taylor

Says Thornbro,

On New Years Eve, December 31st, 2006, my best friend Taylor Chitty, his brother Jay, and his parents Kay & Jim, were all flying home from a North Carolina beach on their single-engine family plane. The destination was Shelby, NC, but they only made it to Charlotte where the plane crashed in a residential neighborhood. Taylor had been my best friend since 1st grade and his family was a second family to me. The world lost four amazing individuals on that New Years Eve. The song tells the story of the accident and how it has changed me to this day. It features the amazing singer, Mary Yount, who is also a sophomore with me at UNC Chapel Hill and the beat was produced by SimsBeats. All of the recording, mixing, and mastering is done by me. Any and all feedback is always greatly appreciated! Let me know what you think, and thank you so much for your time!
