A breakup is plenty painful on it's own. When someone burns their hand on the stove, do you also point out their mistake in public to help them learn? No. If you mock them, especially around others, you're doing it to feel better about yourself.
In 99% of cases, shaming has nothing to do with the person being shamed and everything to do with the one doing the shaming. It's childish bullying, the same type of shit we all dealt with in school growing up.
Real life is more complicated than "SHE FUCKED A DUDE SO SHE'S TERRIBLE." People act that way because they don't want to deal with those complexities; I'd hope you're smarter than that.
