Therative is a venture funded start up pioneering the development of medical products and solutions for consumers.  The company focuses on converting advanced treatments currently available only through a health care professional into consumer products for both medical and cosmetic treatments.  Therative follows a product development discipline centered on product efficacy, consumer safety and customer affordability. 

Therative has a number of products under various stages of development.  Our first commercial product is an innovative technology for the treatment of mild-to-moderate acne (i.e., pimples) marketed under the ThermaClear™ brand name.  ThermaClear was cleared by the FDA for sale over the counter in October, 2006, and is currently for sale at www.thermaclear.com.

Therative is headquartered in Livermore, CA. with offices in San Francisco, CA.  Primary investors in the company include Foundation Capital, RWI Ventures and Band of Angels.
