My initial reaction was that it was the apostrophe we were being offended about…but then I realised the implications of the sign – ‘Mam I need a new hurley for school’ ‘I know, but then we would have go go the long way round, we can’t carry hurleys in Henry Street’
What about my mate Paddy Hurley? Can he no longer go down Henry St.?
WHY THE APOSTROPHE? WHYYYYYY?
+1
Yeah it burns my eyes!
Ahh, so the auld shotgun is still allowed ??
And golf club, kitchen knife, ak47 ….. and the rest!!
Heroin and stolen goods are ok though so that’s good.

Is Champion Sports still in Henry street?

Someone needs to run it through Zuppy’s photoshop detector…
Hockey sticks and cricket bats and baseball bats are still allowed, thankfully.
I sense a protest. Children of Ireland arise, grab your hockey sticks, golf clubs and baseball bats and march!
Can someone zoom in on th’oul pix-els?
Yes, it has been blurred to disguise it, but there is a patch of ‘clean’ background around the lettering.
That’s OK, I’ll bring a camogie stick with me next time…..
It’s street art you saps. Street artists are pretty grammatically poor. Also easily detected by the coloured hurley and incorrect font used.
Is léir go bhfuil cosc ar shéimhiú ar Shráid Anraí chomh maith.
