My new notebook came installed with java version 6 64-bit and 32-bit. i now have java version 6 patch 21 for 64-bit. i also have version 6 restore 23 for 32-bit. i have one java console, and it recognizes 64-bit version 6 update 21. java website recognizes 32-bit update 23. task manager shows jusched.exe running and task scheduler lists it as c:\application files (x86)\common files\java\java update\jusched.exe. in the console, i have never auto-download checked. my question is: why is the auto update software configured to run all the time 24/7? is it jusched a malware or spyware? it only checks once every month for an update right? cant you use windows to schedule the program to run once ever... |
