On October 30, 2012 Kaspersky Lab released a new patch K for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012.

The patch K is automatically installed once anti-virus databases of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 version 12.0.0.374 are updated.

The patch K eliminates the following problem:

How to install patch K

In order to install patch K, perform the following actions:

  1. Run the databases update process.
  2. Once the databases are successfully updated, restart your computer.
  3. Once the system starts, open the main application window.
  4. In the left lower corner of the main application window, click the Support link.
  5. If the patch K is successfully installed, you will see the letter k in the Application version line.
