Kato Yoshikazu received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in international relations from Peking University in 2008 and 2010 respectively. Kato served as a lecturer at the School of Journalism, Fudan University (March-July 2012), and is currently affiliated with the Charhar Institute in China as well as Keio University (Shonan Fujisawa Campus) in Japan. Kato is a columnist for the Financial Times (UK), Diamond Online (Japan), and The Nikkei Asian Review (Japan). His books in Chinese include Patriotic Slave, The Logic of China, The Logic of Japan, and China, Did I Misunderstand You?
