Keep reading to have your questions answered before you make the big decision – which is going to be an easy one when you see all that Rent the Runway has to offer.

How do I ensure the perfect fit?

Contacting Rent the Runway’s stylists may be the best way to prevent your dress selection from not fitting. Each stylist has evaluated each dress in their inventory on various body types, and can pass this knowledge on to you.

Each dress also comes with a size and fit description which details product information as well as sizing charts. Customers also provide reviews on individual dresses on the customer testimonial page.

If you’re in-between sizes, Rent the Runway has you covered! With each dress rental, you’ll receive a back-up size at no additional charge. However, the extra dress should be returned unworn.

What if the dress still doesn’t fit?

If you follow the above steps and the dress still doesn’t fit, then contact Rent the Runway immediately. The unworn dress should be postmarked within 24 hours of receipt. When the return has been completely received back to Rent the Runway, and the email return form is completed, Rent the Runway will issue a merchandise credit. Partial credits are not awarded.
How do I cancel my order?

If you would like to cancel your order, contact a Rent the Runway stylist as soon as possible. Stylists are available by phone 24 hours a day at 1-800-509-0842 or by email. If an order is cancelled within 30 days, a merchandise credit will be issued in the amount of your order, which can be redeemed for a future rental or purchase. If an order is cancelled with more than 30 days notice, a full refund will be issued back to your credit card.
How do I know my dress is clean?

All dresses rented from Rent the Runway are shipped directly from the RTR designer warehouse. All dresses are cleaned and processed at the warehouse in NYC, with the utmost attention paid to quality control. Our dresses are cleaned by a premiere dress specialist, and each dress must pass an approval process.
