What are some gluten free and diabetic diet websites?

A lady that I take care of is a diabetic and was just put on a gluten free diet. I’m having problems finding websites that can work with both diets. If anyone can help. I would really appreciate it!

A) water.
B) fuel.
C) oxygen.
D) carbon dioxide.
I think its fuel but not sure. Please Help

Of the choices, B is the best answer. However, the problem with obesity is that people are getting too much fuel. People who are obese actually need to eat foods that have less energy per unit mass or volume. Foods with high calorie densities, especially fat, actually cause people to eat larger volumes rather than smaller volumes.

The most important part of dieting is energy balance. That is, you will gain weight if your energy intake is greater than your energy expenditure, and you will lose weight if your energy expenditure is greater than your energy intake. That is, exercise is just as important as food.

Does diet coke eat the insides of your intestines?

I’ve heard that diet coke(or diet anything) is horrible for you, and that it eats your stomach. Fact or fiction?

What is a good diet for a vegetarian swimmer?

I keep hearing people say that protein is important and so are carbs, and the two things I hear people constantly saying that meat and pasta are the choice options for that. The pasta part I can handle since I love making different pasta dishes, but meat is not an option. Yes, I do eat tofu and tempeh, but what other things are there? Is there any place that I can contact that could give me a good idea to a meal plan or at least foods to eat more of and foods to completely eliminate from my diet?

You can get all the nutrients you need from a vegetarian eating plan by eating a variety of foods. But you may need to take extra steps to make sure that you are getting enough protein, iron, calcium, zinc, and vitamin B12.

What extra steps you need to take depends on what type of vegetarian you are. Vegetarians fall into three groups:

* Vegans eat only plant-based foods. They do not eat any meat or animal products, including milk and eggs.
* Lacto-vegetarians consume milk and milk products along with plant-based foods. They do not eat eggs.
* Lacto-ovo vegetarians eat eggs and milk and milk products, in addition to plant-based foods.

Milk and milk products are good sources of calcium, vitamin B12, and complete protein. Eggs are a good source of vitamin B12 and complete protein. So if you don’t eat milk or eggs, you need to look elsewhere for these nutrients.

Keep in mind that plants provide incomplete protein. In order to get all the amino acids your body needs, you have to eat a variety of plant foods. So, for instance, eating brown rice with beans will give you complete protein because each food contains the amino acids that the other food lacks.

I need to shock my metabolism into burning calories and fat. I started a vegetarian diet recently and I’m hopeful that it will initiate a double # weight decrease.

I don’t think shocking your system is a good thing, but it’s probably the easiest approach. You will probably go through withdrawals from addictions to salt, sugar, fat/oils, MSG, and aspartame if you are like most Westerners.

One good thing about a pure vegetarian diet is the fact that you don’t feel hungry because it is high in fiber. It’s a very satisfying and healthy diet. Just take your B12, Vitamin D, and ground flax seed (Omega-3 fatty acids). Beans and whole grains at each of three meals squashes your appetite. Lot’s of vegetables and some fruits fulfill the rest of your requirements. If you don’t or cannot eat a balanced vegetarian diet, you may need to eat some animal flesh, but you will suffer some health consequences over a lifetime. Also, make sure to check with your doctor about cholesterol if you are taking a statin drug. These are way too powerful for people on a vegetarian diet and can cause neurological damage.

Avoid pre-packaged, pre-processed convenience foods. Those will always get you. MSG and aspartame are neurotoxins and are outright dangerous (MSG is used to fatten laboratory rats before studies). Soy is not necessary. Soy contains natural hormones and in the US often is made from genetically modified beans. A wide variety of other beans can provide you with the protein you need along with whole grains (oats or wheat or others). Soy is inexpensive and high in protein but the GM crops are risky. Can going on a diet to lose weight effect brain power and revision?

Does losing weight and starting a healthy fat free diet effect your ability to revise and take in information, as planning to do this even though exams are next month. Thank you :)

lack of protein will hurt brain power. If you like diet info here is my findings.
After spine surgery I gained 60 plus lbs. From family being nice and giving me all the things I wanted. From the surgery I could not exercise and walking was a chore. So with spine damage and no chance at exercise I remembered what my high school coach told me.
“It calorie in and calorie burned” The way to burn weight is burn more than you take in. If you do this you will loose weight. So I counted calories and I nearly starved.
I started reading the diets out there. Atkins and south beach. Tried Atkins and lost weight. After loosing several lbs I shared the diet with friends and it worked for them as well. One fellow went from size 48 to 38 pants, stopped taking BP medication and stopped taking diabetes medication. Ate eggs and bacon for breakfast and life was good. I just had trouble holding to the diet. In time I gained the weight back. After the yo-yo dieting and radical eating soups and such, I started to do the common sense diet.
I found something that works and I plan to write a book on it. In the mean time I am will to share this much. The more your bowels work the better you will feel. Turn your diet into a high fiber diet and the more you eat the more you will loose. I find that “Total” raisin Bran will speed your digestion. So eat two or three bowel per day. Salads of fresh veggies will help as well. Yes, use dressing of some type and you need fats. Whole milk, (have documentation to prove it). And Metamucil in the mornin and after noon will help clean your bowels and keep you going. In time you will be able ot eat most any thing you like (as long as it makes you poop) and eat all you like. Things like steak with fat and good cuts of meat. Stay away from burgers and processed foods. Chicken meat and good cuts of pork are OK.
If you snack at night eat the Raisin bran and it will move you in the morning. No white bread, high grain breads are OK.
You need to eat 5 or 6 times per day. From early morning on. Eat small meals and in the am add fresh fruits.
I promise you will loose weight and in time start feeling much better. I have given this info to many people and all have lost weight,. None have had medical problems from it.

What is a good diet pill that works good with walking and a little exercise in the home?

I plan on walking everyday and doing a little exercise in my home. I just wabt to try some diet pilks that will boost my energy and help me lose it quicker. I have poly cystic ovaries and my husband and I are having a hard rime concieveing and sometimes weight loss can help.

What is the typical diet of a six year old boy?

I am doing a project for one of my classes at school, and I have to assess the type of diet that different people have. The part I am working on currently is that of a six year old boy. Any basic suggestions, breakfast, lunch and dinner would be great!

My six year old son, Nicholas is a picky one. I will describe yesterdays meals tho. Breakfast was honey combs and pop tarts with milk to drink. For lunch he had ppj and chips with some cheese. He had some crackers and pretzles for a snack and for dinner we had chicken breast mashed potatoes and corn. Hope I helped.
