Viagra: Versus Cialis

Everyone knows about the effectiveness of Viagra and they are happy with the results.  However, this sex pill has plenty of competitors in the market and one of these is Cialis. The availability of this alternative drug has caused confusion among the male population and this made it hard for them to choose among the two. In contrast, one can buy Cialis in five, ten and twenty milligram pills. Although both drugs come in soft gel form and taken fifteen minutes before sexual intercourse, doctors will recommend that men should take Viagra one hour before lovemaking. Men who prefer Cialis usually take these thirty minutes before sex or twelve hours before.  When it comes to probable side effects, both can cause among other things such as dizziness, vertigo, stomach ache, headaches, stuffy running nose and diarrhea. In worse cases, death may result if one takes either drug in combination with low blood pressure medication such as nitroglycerine.

Drinking alcoholic beverages will have a dire effect if one drinks the “blue pill,” but this is not the case with Cialis. Small doses of alcohol or consuming not so healthy food are tolerable if one is taking the latter. The price of both drugs may also be worth considering and some men may choose Cialis because it is relatively more affordable. Although there is no denying the fact that Cialis also known as the “weekend drug” lasts longer the “blue pill” has a very strong effect even if it lasts only four to six hours. Despite the potency of both sex pills, they are not addicting or will not cause anyone to be physically dependent on them.

However, if they take these medications often, the psychological effect on men is that they will always want to have sex with their partners even if the latter does not want to.  Both of these sex pills are very popular that generic versions have sprouted in the market. Fortunately, despite their lower prices, these more affordable versions are not harmful themselves. Moreover, doctors in different countries have given their stamp of approval on these medications. At the end of the day, it is up for the male consumer to choose between Cialis and Viagra.
