Firefox asterisk in tab
What does an asterisk in a tab mean? I have a firefox tab with (*) preceding the title of the tab. It has happened on multiple tabs and it is beginning to arouse my curiosity. Anyone??

Solved: Firefox asterisk in tab
This has bugged me for a while, too, so I hunted it down (doesn't help when developing websites):
This means that you've 'selected' the tab using the Tab Mix Plus extension. More details here, but basically if you've selected multiple tabs to merge, the 'selected' tabs are marked by that asterisk. You can deselect them the same way you selected them, which is by (accidentally?) holding down CTRL and left-clicking the tabs in question. Hope that helps. |

Re: Firefox asterisk in tab
Thanks for the info! This has been bugging me for a while and found the answer in this old thread via Google in under a minute. So I registered to say thank you.
