About International Relations program 2011
The International Relations Program is one of the three programs that provide support to make our engineering programs more practical and concordant with the need of industry and global society. The program focuses on providing students with practical scientific and technical English education as well as opportunities to participate in international activities such as attending international conferences or taking part in overseas internships.
Technical writing and presentation program ( 2 Credits )
This program aims to enhance student's technical writing
and presentation skills.
It starts with a two-day "Technical writing Intensive course"
by an English technical writing specialist, it will follow with a two-day
"Presentation exercise course" by native English speakers.
These lectures are open to auditing students.
Brush - Up English ( non-credit )
This program offers students opportunities to brush up their English communication skills.
CEED supports a portion of the tuition. In academic year 2011, CEED prepares 2 courses.
A:English conversation course
B:TOEFL course

STUDENT INITIATED ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGES
The program is designated to increase chances for students
to communicate in English and activities to promote international
exchange between Japanese and foreign students.
Students are expected to manage public announcement and the activity
by themselves.
CEED supports the activity cost and may assist with
certain arrangements if necessary.
