Although we’ve been waiting for this one for quite a while now – The WSOP for real money, online! We're sorry to say that we're deeply disappointed.
It is actually playing anywhere else other than directly through the WSOP. It seems that they are still on their Beta version and I must say, when I play, especially if I'm relatively new, I prefer knowing I'm playing in a stable poker room with enough players in my level to play against.
In general, this offline poker tournaments giant is one of the biggest around and it produces the most professional and famous poker players from all over the world. The thing is, I think that like in many similar cases, if you have a winning hours don't change it. You're very good in offline poker, stick with it. Don't initiate an online version before you know for sure you can provide your players the same level of professionalism and experience they get in the offline version of this amazing poker tournament.
They still have some good parts in their online version. There's the WSOP 'education program'. Poker players, at all levels, can benefit from the WSOP academy. The WSOP academy can turn any newbie poker player to a professional poker player that plays to win. Professional poker players can learn how to improve their gaming and winning odds. Behind the lessons and tips you’ll find famous poker players, including bracelet winners and well known poker champs.
The WSOP also offers a mobile supporting gaming platform, which means you can play from anywhere using your mobile phone. You can also play through Facebook, sharing your gaming experience with good friends. But then again, many other online poker rooms offer a mobile version. Click here to start playing in one of them now.
So this crazy poker player personal opinion is - go ahead and pave your way to the grand yearly tournament of the WSOP, but do it using some of the top and already well known online poker rooms such as Party poker or 888 poker, and leave the WSOP online version for staying updated with latest news, going through their poker academy and get some inside info about your favourite poker player.
