ok ive removed the vacuum box and heres what ive got now:
key:
red = MAP sensor
yellow = primary advance
purple = 2nd advance
orange = fuel tank pressure release bullshit
green = misc plugged up vacuum points
now it seems to run ok i havent done too much driving yet but one thing i wanna know is how to hook up the vacuum advance, at the moment its just hooked up how it normally is with the 1st hose going to the intake mani and the 2nd hose just blocked off which used to go to that box.... i did try having both advances hooked to the intake mani but it didnt seem to go as well... any ideas ??
definatly looks tidier than with all the stock vacuum shit tho i think, but yea any thoughts on what ive done ? good idea or bad idea ?

Looks great, I have no idea about the Advance stuff. What i did with the orange one on the fire wall was just take a ftlong piece of vacuum line and run it down the firewall incase any gas ever comes up through it, it wont get on anything imporant and keep water and stuff outa it.
You might look in your service manual, it proably tells you how to check the Advance, and theres probably vacuum readings, grab a vacuum gauge and see if there still in spec and youll know if you got it hooked up right.

When you say you removed your vacume box, does that include everything else on the firewall?
You could always convert to a electronic advance....lol, maxout on g1teg.org just like, plugged all the lines into the intake mani...like he looped them ...idk

This is going to be probably a very stupid question but what do you get with removing the vacuum box... i saw lot's of people here de-vacing their cars but i couldn't find in any post why should it be done or what do i get by it... sorry maybe i didn't use the search option at 100%

the reason is cause its just pointless, i dunno why its even there, theres like 3 or 4 different idle up's and theres that vacuum advance comming out of it which is the one i want to know about, alex rekons it could be a cold advance but it seems to be running fine without it.
its just overall tidier and no more anoying vacuum lines everywhere, been meaning to do this for ages and finally just did it for the hell of it

Its emissions bs, and just more vacuum lines to leak. By deleting it you can cleanup the engine bay and reduce potential problems. Its more handy on the Carb cars than the EFI but it still helps.

Maybey this will help you out a little. I can take a new picture now that it is clean if you can't tell what you need to from this pic.
As for your pic-
Green- Most of tose are capped off after vac box removal
Yellow- Correct
Pink- Needs to be tapped into the yellow
Red- Needs to be connected to the back of intake vacum port.
Orange- Doesnt matter since it's just a drain for the HVAC behind the dash

yea well thats the thing tho it seems to run alot better with the pink capped off and the yellow left standard thats why i changed it back to that i originally did have the pink and yellow connected together, maybe it advances it too much or somthing, and yea the MAP sensor is obviously plugged in or the engine wont work
