My family wants to play a fun game, with everyone involved, but we don’t have any boards or cards or any boxed games. Any suggestions? We were thinking maybe charades, but we don’t have any clues or words to use. Especially since we are various ages. Thanks!!

Comments:

Charades would be my pick. A neutral moderator can write down the names of animals, people, movies, books, plays, and songs in advance on slips of paper. Or each team can create words for the other to use. The game goes fast and is lots of fun. Various ages is not as big a problem as you might think, especially if the moderator selects a variety of words.

How much money should I bring to the casino?

I have never been to a casino before and neither has my boyfriend. We are going in a week or two and weren’t sure how much money to bring. We don’t plan on going crazy gambling. Chances are mainly the low stakes slots and maybe a few hands of poker. Also, dinner and a few drinks. All together how much money should we bring. It wouldn’t be as big of a deal if the casino was in the same country but it’s not so we have to deal with currency conversion and all the jazz otherwise I wouldn’t worry about it. Estimates anyone?

Comments:

Call ahead and find out which restaurant you want to go to, then ask what the typical prices are for meals at the restaurant. Take a guess how much it’s going to cost you, then add about more just to be sure.

From there, add another 0 for gambling. ( each.) When the money is gone, the money is gone.

Once you’ve got a “final number” on your calculations, then just ask yourself this: “Can we really afford this much money for entertainment?” If yes, then you’ve got your number. If no, then lower the amount you can gamble with. Maybe you can only afford each. Maybe you can actually afford 0 each for gambling. We don’t really know you, nor do we know your financial situation.

Are there any Places in Las Vegas, nevada where you can be 18 and play slot machines?

Comments:

Legal gambling is 21. Unless you’re at an underground, illegal place, there is no gambling when you’re 18.

That or a very good fake id.

I want to sync a purchased game (monopoly) on my nano 3rd generation ipod without it getting rid of my other games. It says that in order to put the game on it has to get rid of other games already on there. But I have plenty of space available. What else will fix this problem?

Comments:

Hey. My best answer will be to go the apple.com website and chat with one of the representatives there. They will help you out.

I think the problems is that ipod nanos don’t play games? It works on an ipod touch but I’m not sure with the nano. Hope this helps!

How do you start making video games?

I am wondering How do I create video games? Can someone give me a good free way to start making video games? Not how to get a job in the gaming industry (although that would be helpful) how do I make a video game? Can you include a good program or a website that will help me make video games?

Comments:

There are three free game engines for non commercial use that i know of:

Unreal Engine (aka Unreal Developers Kit or UDK) http://udk.com/ i will probably soon start making a game and il use this. (Best games i played from this engine are Mirror’s Edge and Dungeon Defenders)

Cryengine http://mycryengine.com/ (Crysis series was made on this engine)

Unity http://unity3d.com/ (Cartoon network universe: Fusion Fall was made on this engine)

Check those sites there are tutorials on them how to start making games and all that stuff.

Hope it helped :D

How do casinos/sports betting arenas do this legally? How can it be legal/consitutional to just limit gambling to a handfull of businesses and not others?

Comments:

Try to learn the US Federal Law first to make you move on this. Hiring lawyers would help you decide better.

Are their video games that allow people to assault other “people”/human images inside the video games. Not just shoot as assault but as in sexually. In a wrong way, even if you don’t think its wrong I want to know what games those are, I am doing a school assignment.

Comments:

Are you doing a school assignment, or do you have a master plot of taking away our freedom due to your evangelical christianity? I’m just guessing when I say this, but I’m right aren’t I? If you’re in school, then you would probably have some idea as to what games kids are playing – if not then just ask them – they’re your classmates! If you want to follow the WWJD mantra – the guy apparently allowed for free will didn’t he?

So I really liked baby luv, but I got REALLY boring. I want a game where you can make your own family, and watch your kids grow. Anyone know good games? Also, its okay if I have to download it if its an online game.

Other info: I love games like The Sims 2 and already have it, and I like the Virtual MTV game.

What games are a must have in a good casino?

Hi, I am doing a project for my Gaming Management module and it involves developing a casino. However, I have never been to a casino because I am under the age limit. I don’t really trust secondary sources because they might be outdated and may not really portray the interests of the majority.

The games can be table games or machines.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Comments:

I have been to countless casinos in my days. If I was to design my own casino, it would have around 800 slot machines and 80 table games. The ratio of machines to table games should be around 10 to 1.
The slots would consist of a variety with about 20-30 high limit machines (, and 0). I would have 200 machines, some with a progressive payout and some regular. I would have 250 $.25 and $.50 machines, 100 $.05 slots and the rest $.01-$.02. You want a variety with some video poker games, interactive games with a touch screen and other regular slots.
For table games, I would have a mixture of blackjack, craps, baccarat, 3-card poker, Casino War and the Money Wheel. I would also have a 60-table poker room and a Keno/Bingo hall.
Can you tell I have always wanted to design my own casino?? LOL I hope this helped. Good luck!

How do you get documentation showing your losses or winnings for tax purposes? Like for blackjack? Or slots? Or sportsbetting? Gambling losses or tax deductible right? (Against your gambling winnings as I understand it) Any info would help. Thanks

Comments:

if you lose in gambling, there’s no tax deduction

but if you win a lot, like 5 grams or more, then casino will give you something like an invoice then you need to report the invoice when you prepare for your taxes next time.
