Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the horizontal conveyor in the preparation of a fish paste product having the form of bundled long filaments, and to reduce the area for installation of the apparatus, by slitting and suspending a fish paste web, and binding the suspended web in a cylindrical form.
CONSTITUTION: A web A1 of a heat-treated fish paste product is transferred by the front conveyor 1 to the device 2 for continuously slitting in the form of comb. The web A1 having comb-like slits is suspended downward, and passed between a pair of horizontally arranged spool-shaped disks 4a and 4b to obtain a cylindrically bound web, which is cut to a definite length with the cutter 10 to obtain the final product.
