SAC FALL CHECKLIST

Hey SAC groups! Here is a fall semester checklist of actions to take before you return to school and when you return for NSO to make sure your group is ready to go for the upcoming year.

1. Register for the Fall Activity Fair – At this point, the main registration form has been closed. If you have not yet registered, please do so at www.sacfunded.net. The link is on the home page. An email containing registration information was also sent to the SAC listserv a few weeks ago. Contact Tiki with any questions – sacactivityfair@gmail.com

2. Subscribe to the SAC listserv – Make sure your group is subscribed to the SAC listserv so you stay up to date on important SAC meetings and announcements throughout the year. Make sure a few members of your Exec Board are subscribed so your group doesn’t miss anything and become de-recognized as a result. SAC has a self-add listserv – simply visit www.sacfunded.net and follow the instructions for subscribing. Contact Jen with any questions – jench[at]sas.upenn.edu

3. Update your group’s contact information with SAC – Email your SAC rep with up-to-date contact information for your group to make sure SAC can be in touch with you throughout the year. Please email your group name, group point of contact’s name, and the point of contact’s email. SAC representatives’ emails are available on www.sacfunded.net under “About SAC Executive Board.”

4. Log on to SAC online – Log on to SAC online to see important messages from SAC and make sure you know your budget for the upcoming year. A link to SAC online is available on www.sacfunded.net or here: sac.students.vpul.upenn.edu/login.asp

Thanks, and please let us know if you have any questions.

Strictly Funk

Strictly Funk is an avant-garde fusion dance group at the University of Pennsylvania. The troupe was formed in 1997 with the intention of transcending traditional boundaries of dance and has been developing a performance culture of its own ever since. This diverse company of 20+ members from all Penn undergraduate and graduate schools, as well as
the greater Philadelphia area, seeks to explore hip hop, jazz, free-styling, lyrical, breaking, locking, and funk, while still recognizing the personal styles of individual dancers. Each Funk show features an overarching theme, of which all numbers aim to explore from a different perspective. Shows run on a continuous soundtrack, breaking only for intermission, while also incorporating elaborate video and lighting.

A Strictly Funk production is not just a performance; it’s an experience.
