The public, with the aid of a willing press, seems to delight in creating a sort of caricature for every one who occupies the highest office in the land. This president was no exception - except that he was. Unlike some of the far-fetched portraitures painted of the men in the White House, Calvin Coolidge actually personified the very label they sought to place upon him. While nearly every chief executive tended to the verbose, he was lampooned for being a man of too few words. True indeed….
