Rev. Amy Carol Webb

“Ministry is at its depth a continuing conversation among our authentic, imperfect selves within the shelter of compassion, joy and faith that we may heed the call to be transformed and transform our world.”

Storm Closing

River of Grass will be CLOSED
on Sunday and Monday

Due to the unpredictable and potentially dangerous wind and water conditions that will arrive with Tropical Storm/Hurricane Isaac, the River of Grass Board of Trustees feels it is in the best interest of the safety and well-being of our community to close our facility on Sunday, August 26 and Monday, August 27, 2012.

All services and activities have been canceled.

With a membership that covers a wide geographic area from Coral Springs to Miami Springs in the west, and Pompano Beach to Miami in the east, we feel it prudent to encourage our families to stay safe in their homes and off the roadways.

The Homecoming and Water Communion service with Rev. Amy Carol Webb (and the Board Retreat) scheduled for this weekend will be rescheduled for September 16.

In Faith,
The Board of Trustees

We are a community of people of faith, dedicated to helping each other and the world in which we live.
We are committed to promoting the values of Unitarian Universalism as embodied in our Principles and Purposes. We are united in our conviction that we need not think alike to love alike, and we welcome diversity of opinion as well as in individual life experiences.

We are a community of individuals building an extended family.
We pledge to help each other lead lives of significance and fulfillment. We will strive to create a safe and loving haven for families and instill in our children an enduring understanding of their faith.

We are a community of seekers.
We are committed to provide a sanctuary in western Broward County where people can worship in an atmosphere of religious freedom, calm reflection and spiritual renewal. We invite others searching for a spiritual home to join us in the exploration of life's great mysteries and meaning.
