CCMA: Training, Support, Recognition

The California College Media Association is a statewide organization that works to stimulate communication, organization and leadership among California media students and advisers at community colleges and universities in California.

This year, CCMA is connecting with more local chapters of professional journalism associations to include our students in their events or mixers. Check here, our Facebook page and Twitter (@calcollegemedia) for these opportunities. Or email us at cacollegemedia@gmail.com.

The organization was founded in 2003 by a group of media advisers dedicated to supporting student journalists. The group hosts an annual training workshop aimed at arming students with the most innovative ideas in media and a yearly excellence in student media competition showcasing the best in the state.
