It is always darkest before dawn.
Unfortunately, in the case of this journal, it is a gray day that meets us this dawn. There won't be shining rays of the bright light that is supposed to be representative of my image-peppered posts. In fact, you can tell by the lame attempt at creativity that is this long useless paragraph that I'm not really in a mood to put *effort* into posting. But I thought I should post before I forget everything I'm supposed to be posting about. Yes, that's why I've been silent. Aside from the lack of proper internet access, of course.

Here, have a random cute guy picture.

HA! I LIED! That was not random. That was Miura Haruma. The only japanese guy I've seen so far...

...who can pull off bleached hair so damn well. o.o

I seriously think he looks so good with bleached hair.

Of course, he looks good with his normal black hair too. :D

What I really like about him are his eyes.

They're so PRETTY. I mean...

LOOK at those eyeLASHES. PRETTY is the word.

Most of the time, being too pretty doesn't sit well with me. But for Miura Haruma, I find him to be just the right kind of pretty.

It just feels so good to just look at him! Like looking at a pretty painting or a cute pet or stuffed toy! And just to make it clear, this is not meant to degrade him in any way.

I'm just saying that for me, his face is such a work of art that I decided to watch videos of him. Apparently, unlike Kaname Jun, this guy has a lot of fans who fangirl about him and I found a community dedicated to subbing his TV appearances in a flash. He's pretty cute and funny at times, but I think more of shy in most of what I watched? Maybe... In any case, I still find watching Kaname Jun more entertaining.:P

So yeah, I haven't betrayed my original reason for making this blog. I persevere through temptation! o/

That said, I actually ended up finishing a number of shows in my dark silence. :D

#1) YAOH

It was OK. It wasn't special and I didn't like the story in particular though the setting was interesting. I think the best thing in this series, aside from the presence of Kaname Jun, was the music. I loved the background music they used.:D Direction was pretty decent too. All in all, I think it was a decent series if I don't consider the story and all. It was funny when it was supposed to be funny, but the drama just doesn't get to me and I definitely disliked the main character. The villain wasn't AWESOME enough too. So, yeah, the music was great.

#2)Boku to Boku no Kanojo no Ikiru Michi

This one was fairly good. For something so dramatic without the usual touch of comedy one would find in the shows I watched, I actually liked it. It was actually a choice between this and Taiyou no Uta for the next Kaname Jun drama I was going to watch at that time, but even though Kaname Jun seemed cooler in Taiyou no Uta, I liked the first episode of this series more. It definitely helped that the kid in this show was just adorable~ Haha. But pretty much, it's an interesting story that shows a POV of people I don't meet often in my life. That means most of the people I know are kind of happy-go-lucky. Oh, but what can I do~? *Ahem* Anyway, the drama of this show definitely got to me. Sometimes, maybe it was a bit too much or a bit too long, but getting left behind by a parent when you're a kid is no small thing. To a kid, a family is supposed to be one of the absolutes in this world, a light that shines on a solid defined pretty pathway. To lose that absolute so early in one's life is definitely something that's worth the drama. Innocence in kids is nice and heartwarming. "Innocence" in grown-ups is not "innocence" but stubborn naivete. Yes, I dislike Ryosuke with a passion. Rin-chan wins 1 million times over. HAHAHA.

#3) H2 ~Kimi to Itahibi~
I liked this series! :D My friend and I really love the Cross Game Anime which is currently airing, so when we discovered that there's a live-action of another of Adachi-sensei's works, we checked it out, and all was well in the world~! Well, kind of. Um. Yeah, some not-good things happened, but well, that's just the way this world is. I also got the H2 manga and shall read it at some point in the not-so-faraway future~! ^^,

#4) Negative Happy Chainsaw Edge (Movie)
I think I came across this because apparently, Miura Haruma used to be part of some JPop group, so I got curious and started looking for clips of him singing on youtube. Then, I found that clip of him singing Konjou Nashi for NegaChain. Of course, we're talking about a move entitled NEGATIVE HAPPY CHAINSAW EDGE here, so of course I went and checked it out! How could I not? The title was begging to be watched. For some reason, all the Japanese Movies I watched had, in my opinion, the same flaw which is on their flow. Flaw: flow. YEAH. But as so far I've only seen Japanese movies that are adaptations of some other form of literature like manga or novels, I can't tell whether the cause is the transition from one form to the other, or if this is some cultural difference thing which one can probably get used to, in time. Someday, I will find out. Pretty much, it was an interesting enough story, but I thought there wasn't enough action with the Chainsaw guy. Haha. That would've been fun.:D ... KONJOU NASHI! *ouch* I just got hit. I'm a pretty passive person, yeah.

#5) Koizora (Movie)
Another movie where Miura Haruma has bleached hair. He looked better in this one, actually. :D Well, pretty much, I think the story got condensed and the events seemed to take place too fast. I'm currently watching the series version of this, and the character and plot development seems to be better in the series. So, I guess it was really a matter of length... But movie makers should know that and they should be able to adjust accordingly. Tsk tsk. Haha, I'm a demanding pirating little git. Yes, hate me. Anyway, though the series seemed to be better in the aspects mentioned earlier, I find it more believable that Mika fell for the Hiro in the movie than in the series. The Hiro in the series was definitely not likeable in the beginning, imo. He was kind of a jerk, yeah. The Hiro in the movie was awkward and kind of strange (giving flowers with roots.....) but, definitely more likeable, especially since Mika knew him through the phone first. Oh, acting was good. :D Bleached hair Miura Haruma was definitely good too. :D

Well, I think that was all I was supposed to write about. ^^,

I think I'll go play my long-unplayed Luna Online now~~

But if I end up too lazy since I haven't played in quite a while and all, I'll just watch more Boys Over Flowers~ Jun Pyo is so much fun to watch~ (Though I'm really supposed to be working on something.... Ladida~)
I shall eagerly await our next meeting in the faraway and unknown next dawn in this jounal~
Lalala~
